Is it just me, or was the sound slightly distorted in the M&L demo? I made sure it wasn’t my speakers that were the problem by trying other games. I’m on the XL.

I’ll be picking up my copy of Dream Team before work on Wednesday. Year of Luigi and Luigi has always been my fav Mario character so you know I’m showing the love.
I DID IT! I paid off ALL of my loans to Tom Nook! I don’t owe that raccoon another dime!! FREEDOM!!! Also, my home has the castle exterior now.
Speaking of New Leaf, I was visiting Muffy’s house and she has an organ. I just started whaling on the thing and next thing I know she starts clapping like I’m on stage at a concert. That’s why the Animal Crossing games are so much fun: the little things. I was screwing around late at night in the game after a SUCKY night of work and pounding on that organ put a huge grin on my face. No other game gives you so much satisfaction for doing something so little. I can put a toilet in my house as a seat, sit on it and when I get up, I get to hear it flush. Words cannot express how freaking great that is.
I used my $30 eShop credit. I picked up The GG Shinobi (called simply Shinobi), Pushmo, Shante and Mega Man 4-6. Pushmo is soooo much fun! and it was only $6.99 I was positive that costed around $8.99 or $9.99. But when Crashmo came out, maybe they lowered the price.
Bowser’s Inside Story is one of my favorite RPG’s Dream Team has a lot to live up to.
whoa I just realize I bought about $40 worth of DLC>Fire Emblem Awakening. That’s a whole other games worth!
How is the DLC, by the way? Are they just essentially map packs or are they mini-campaigns?

I beat it with my original 5, no runemaster, no medic crew.

Main class arcanists, bushis, and imperials are too good anyway, lol.
Beat as in including the post game sixth stratum/maze? I’m only at the 4th area ATM, don’t have as much time to play through but hasn’t been too rough so far.
Since were talking EO fuck Abyssal God in 3 still. I’m refusing to use the broken setups or destroy his pieces around the floor too so he is a pain in the ass.
Yes - beat as in 6th Stratum bug squashed.

That game has broken setups of a purpose.
It needs broken setups (and do stack those element and bash rings on the dragons).
Yea I’ve taken out the Dragons including Elder, it’s just the later parts of the 2nd Abyssal God fight where he goes completely random with counters and healing that screw me over. I’ve been resisting the urge but it might not be possible. Seems like you gotta kill him quick before he goes too crazy.
Not limiting myself like this in 4 though.

I beat it with a Fortress, Landshark, Dancer, Nightseeker, and Sniper.
In 3, you practically NEED Warrior’s Might.
Since we are talking EO4, is there a certain order one should approach the dragon boss missions. I am at like the second floor of the 6th dungeon, still at the base level cap but I’ve only gone after the Fire dragon mission so far and he still keeps making BBQ out of my main group, are the other dragons easier prey so I can get past the level cap first or what?
I did the fire one first too.
But I think the one in the area right after his, is easier than he is.
Make sure you get the special sauce sparklie that gives the proper elemental defense, and get the guest in tow.

Both actually. Depends on what you are looking for, if you need Gold/EXP/Super Weapons there are maps for those. I found those three equally important if you want to max out stuff for the regular play, but some people feel this game is pretty easy and they are not looking for ways to optimize characters.
Other DLC’s are mini-campaigns to the main story, like the Future Past one. After I beat Future Past, the credits started rolling as if the game was over lol.
And then, you have DLC’s that are concentrated around giving the player as much hell as possible (Apotheosis/Challenge Pack)
The other DLC’s are map packs for unlocking characters, but I don’t find these characters as good as the ones you get in Streetpass preferably. It would probably be smart to just buy the maps into which you get a bonus skill from (Rogue and Redeemers 3 gives you limit breaker, a really important skill for Apotheosis)
I just brought a blue 3DS XL (bastards at Target were out of stock on the black ones). My immediate interest is on platformers. Donkey Country Returns, Rayman Origins, Sonic Generations and Shinobi are on my radar. Any other non-Nintendo platformers I need to be aware of?
Cave Story unless you have it on some other device already. It’s the best metroidvania I’ve ever played.
Damn this PXZ is the goodness geek crossover fun.

Get it anyway in 3d. I personally loved the 3d visuals and it is awesome.
