I must be the only one in this thread who doesnāt really like turn based RPGs anymore. Iāll probably cop FE:A, but Iām not sure SMT is for me reminds me of adult Pokemon, turn based combat is justā¦boring to me lol.
So what kinds of apps did you buy in SMT4? I bought Fundraise because you canāt really grind by just killing demons. The neat thing about Fundraise is that you can hustle multiple times. The app that lets you fuse during combat sounds like a waste considering you have a lot of space to carry demons around, so you should have a variety at all times.
I bought the app that lets you get items when you recruit demons, but it hasnāt been too useful. Should I get the app that upgrades the item quality, or is that a waste?
I didnāt notice until several hours in, but thereās no moon phase. Seemed kind of weird to me. Itās like a DQ game with no slimes.

Also you start making money after awhile a bit later in the game. Didnāt have much problems with money even without fundraiser
Yes and no. Technically the main games are connected but only the spinoffs are all connected to SMT If. The main connection is usually through demons, spell names and the idea of it all being a big fucked up multiverse where the divine entity is either insane or just doesnāt give a fuck.
Iām improving on Shinobi. Parrying, stealth kills, combos and such, but I STILL canāt get past that tutorial! And this is normal Iām playing on.
Luigiās Mansion: Dark Moon is SOOOOOO much fun! Iām still in Gloomy Manor but I am loving this game. I get giddy every time my curiosity is reward for searching about to uncover a hidden passage or find some gold tucked away. This game looks stunning as well. Just as the original was on of the GCNās best lookers Dark Moon is a visual showcase.
Anyone made any paths or used them in New Leaf? There are some very creative folks out there. Also, check out this Castlevania custom design. When I get home from work on Tuesday night, Iām adding that sucker to my collection.

Damn, the later levels will gang rape you :lol: After getting the hang of things each level should be a fluid run through, where you just move from enemy to enemy seamlessly with no stops in between. The game trains you to have a flow.
Started playing FE:A and LoZ:LA-DX.
Havenāt had so much fun in a long time.
I remebering playing LA on regular gameboy, but the DX version makes it so much better.

anyways, im about to beat SMTIV tomorrow. would finish now but I have to leave for work soon. this game overall is much easier than nocturne but still a great game.
