MC Cthulhu would replace the pcb inside your ps1/ps2 stick, making it a ps3/pc stick. You can add support for other consoles with the cthulhu, but that’s a little more complicated than just getting a cthulhu solely for ps3/pc support. For ps3/pc, you just need the mc cthulhu, some wires for the buttons, wire harness for your joystick, and an A/B usb cable. If your buttons and joystick aren’t sanwa/seimitsu or something similar, you may need to replace them to wire them to the cthulhu.

If all you’re looking for is ps3/pc support, you don’t need much technical knowledge to get the stick working- just the parts and some screwdrivers.

Added description of what’s going on in this training vid along with a FT10 series set on PSN vs Mckevkev (chun vs urien)

Spoiler

0:00-4:10

Defensive air parries that everyone should utilize. Always look to parry in the air especially in the corner and to get out. It’s always useful to buffer parry as soon as you jump to avoid tight pressure sequences

6:30-7:40

Getting out of the corner after pressure, making sure to parry on the way out in case of anti air

8:00-12:50

simple red parry into punish off chun SA2 super, looking for max damage with best situation payoff (pushing chun into the corner) then afterwards dealing with lighting legs pressure on landing (parrying at least 3 times till one sequence is done then punishing afterwards is best for dealing with LL/ can be punished with 2/3 frame moves extending from the ground up or with invicibility)

13:20-17:45

pressuring ken with sweet spot aegis reflector and building meter with dash up low short, tackle (idea taken from rKf ) but also different scenarios in case they attempt to jump

29:23-35:00

practicing parrying 2nd slash from yang as well as ex remainder to avoid pressure (not recommended unless it’s sure to come at you) then later red parrying 1st slash and dealing with the delayed slash

35:35-38:34

dealing with unblockable setups, going from trying to block from right to left really fast (blocking the hit from urien normally while blocking the aegis backwards) then parrying down into right into left which can also give a partial block

38:51-41:28

(showcasing what happens when right is held, or when left is held after wakeup on aegis)

With ken blocking the general unblockable, block towards the aegis (left) then right as the f-mk from urien hits (causing the parry) then holding towards the right to block the rest of the aegis

NOTE: if cr.hp comes after you block towards the left again

41:45-45:40

Parrying and punishing akuma tatsu’s with crouch into two parries or red parry into max punish with various characters

45:50-47:30

Dealing with necro’s drill kicks by down parrying (attempting to punish or interrupt with fukiage or ex) command grab works fine in order punish

48:00-50:45

Crouching under ibuki’s f-hk and counterpoking/parrying or command grabbing into punish

51:15-54:50

Focusing on parrying then blocking Remy CBK at various distances by crouching (avoids high lov’s and allows easier parries to avoid walking and missing a parry)

55:30-56:50

Dealing with anti air from makoto

57:00-1:00:40

utilizing guard jump for various situations from makoto (refer to guard jump coverage)

1:01:20-1:04:50

Countering oro’s unblockables from SA2, originally showing what happens when holding one direction or the other, but to block effectively block right, left, right or parry down then right then block towards oro (right)

1:05:20-1:11:35

Countering alex’s headstomps on wakeup by inputting one direction or other then holding as he lands (one side gets a parry, other side gets a block)

1:12:15-1:15:45

Countering elena’s overhead by red parrying or stuffing with low normal into punish

1:16:26- 1:18:15

Utilizing guard jump continued
