Let it be known a ton of you check this thread often. There’s no excuse for having people on auto draft in fantasy (unless a scheduling conflict presents itself) when I am always last minute trying to find people to play. I Pm’ed multiple people and several of you didn’t reply or asked for invites and I waited for days for you not to sign up. Why not just let me know when sign ups open that you have an interest in playing? Why wait to the very last minute? For the record, you can count on sign ups for fantasy football on SRK to go up late July into early August. This year I slacked a little but the point being everyone had ample opportunity. Former champions (you know who you are) I’m looking for your messages first to ensure you get in, but when I don’t see you message me, I assume you don’t want to play.
To make matters easier next year, the sign ups will go up late July along with a new thread. I will make sure the first post stays updated with relevant information for fantasy sign ups, and I will make a league to accommodate people on west coast time and those of you who historically can’t make draft times on the weekends. You will have an option as to which league you want to be a part of to make sure you don’t miss your draft. Next year there will be no excuses or last minute scrambling for players and iffy wishy washy players.
As we had 5 Autobots in league 2. In that chat I know there was the same sense of people not making it was annoying. I get its hard for 12 people all over the USA to meet at a specific time but your given adequate time almost every year cause under 60% attendance was lame.
But if I can give my 2 cents. Its time to make a single 12 person Keeper league. Come on I know the 12 most “dedicated” people who don’t miss drafts and are here year after year.
Yesterday in my Keeper league we did a Auction draft and it was epic. So much fun and great to start a keeper league.
I had to work, no way I could have been at that draft which is why I said it in advance.

My fantasy league screwed up the draft settings, so we had to reset. I went from having Mariotta and McCown as my QBs to getting Luck and RG3 instead.

No, he actually drafted all 4, thinking we’d want to make a trade with him. Looks like he might be the first 0-13 srk fantasy team to me lol.
From what I read, it was back when Skip worked for the Dallas Morning News and wrote something claiming Aikman was gay, without any proof of it.

Usually not. I was fairly active in trying to attempt trades last year and I usually am if someone has a piece I want. I just couldnt agree on the pieces last year with whoever i was involved with. Problem is that most of the people who play this day in age on Srk are less likely to pull off a trade. Its almost like pulling teeth. However, that shouldn’t be an issue in League 2 this year.
