NFL Thread: The Raiders will be moving to LasVegas. #blackhole2gloryhole

Honestly, its probably a little of both.

Perhaps consider the possibility that they were looking at the reality of Shaun Hill being the starter, and went into panic mode.

I remember when the Raiders were 4-2 and Matt Lienert was our prospect at starter. Had to pickup Palmer because fuck that idea.

Shaun Hill actually has comparable stats to Bradford…which is hilarious in its own right.

This Vikings fan is having Nam-like flashbacks.

So…if the Vikings beat the Eagles in Philly this year, it will be the ultimate humiliation.

Meanwhile browns fan be watching like

Lolol.

I’ll bet you anything, this fell into the Eagles lap. They had every intention of starting the season with Sam and redshirting Wentz. The Vikings kept upping their offer to the point Howie Roseman couldn’t say no. Remember, the Eagles traded their 1st to get Wentz. Now they get it back.

Also, the Eagles Traded a 2nd for Bradford and traded a 1st and 2nd for Wentz, but got a 1st back for Bradford. So it’s two 2nds for Wentz now.

I wasn’t even looking forward to this season for the Eagles because of Bradford. Now that I know the tank is in AND they’re gonna go with Wentz THIS YEAR, I’m fucking excited and highly anticipating Minnesota’s eventual 7-9 season, highlighted by Bradford missing 4 games due to injury. And, early on Bradford isn’t gonna know the Viking offense, because he just showed up this week. Nowhere near enough time to get on the same page with the wrs, TEs, playbook, audibles, etc. so unless AP goes beast those first few games (entirely possible) those early games will be losses.

You’re a dummy if you think the Vikings are going 7-9. That is all. But then again, most people said the Vikings werent getting more than 5 wins last year and they were a bad kick away from 2nd round. Odds are they’re an even better team this year and their schedule is FAR easier than last year. We get to play the NFC east, which most people here are fans of. And the East is shit. IMO the worst division in football currently.

So… worse?

Please explain this logic to me.

Vikings go 11-5 last year and almost beat seahawks. Vikings finished 30th last year in passing offense…
Vikings lose Teddy and all of a sudden we’re so much worse?
Assuming Bradford puts up similar numbers to Teddy last year (which was only 14 TDs and 12 Ints)… how do we go 7-9?

Lololololol

Do you really think Sam Bradford will be around for more than 7 wins? Or do you think Shaun Hill can lead them to the playoffs?

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

And when I said 7-9, I was being generous. Teddy B>Sam B. Bradford is basically qb version of Jeff Fisher. He ain’t done shit, but keeps getting paid stupid money for 7-9/8-8 seasons.

I’m not an expert. Let me refer you to someone with direct knowledge.

  1. you’re not gonna be able to sneak up on teams this year
  2. teddy B>Sam B
  3. Sam B just got to the team today/tomorrow and the season starts next Sunday. I doubt he even knows the names of his new receivers. Let alone where they want the ball, how fast they are, how they look coming out of their break, what plays he can audible to, etc.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

Yeah, they play the NFC East. Wait a minute… Isn’t that where Sam just came from?

Firstly, this is the NFL we’re talking about. You don’t sneak up on teams. Thats the fucking dumbest argument in the world. So what you’re saying is people realize they’re already a good team… and that makes them worse?

Nothing has changed…and the vikings don’t need to sneak up on teams. They’ve been a team in the making like this for a long time and they only got better at every other position but QB where they were ranked last in the league…

Finally, our first opponent is the Titans. We could probably not throw the ball all game and still beat the Titans. That gives him two weeks to learn the offense.

For the record he’s been 8-8 on absolutely god awful teams. He was on the eagles which have been awful for a while and he was on the rams when they were even worse than they are now.

Wait wait wait wait… You threw me stats to try to prove Teddy B isn’t better than Sam?

Bradford does his best work when his team plays for nothing. If he’s so good, why is it that NONE of the teams he’s started for have reached the playoffs? NONE! He’s had talent with him. He is what he is. An average, injury-prone qb who looks good in practice but as the first sign of pressure, becomes a paper cup.

Do you seriously think getting Sam Bradford is an UPGRADE? Like they should’ve traded for him even if Teddy was there?

Lol!

Shit… I was happier when the Eagles had nick Foles and he’s practically out of the league.

But don’t worry. You’ll find out. You won’t have to have to argue with me on the Internet about it. You get to see Captain Checkdown and the King of Garbage Time Tds and yards, firsthand.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

This was how the trade went down.

At this point, I would laugh if the Vikings tried to coax Farve out of retirement to suit up again. On second thought, scratch that because Brett being Brett, he might actually say yes…

holy shit man, this saturday right here…got idiots giving up picks for bradford, cowboys getting sanzhez, and talk in green bay about us releasing our most reliable guard due to salary cap issues, fucking crazy…

At Howie Roseman’s news conference.

Lol.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

Like I said… Minny got desperate and Howie couldn’t say no. And I don’t blame him. If you’re the GM for the Eagles, you make that trade all day long and twice on Sunday.
