If needed, I can bring a DC with a goblin, CVS2, and MVC2, and also a modded PS2 with Slash, NGBC, KOFXI, 3rd Strike, Alpha Anthology. Only thing with the PS2 is that it’s setup so I can’t get to the cords, but I can snag the system itself. Just let me know.

Also, late night tournaments sound like fun. Thanks for willing to keep it open. :tup:

What’s up NC?

Me, yourmaster, and DeToX have pretty much got everything set now.

GameLAN’D has 2 DCs that are capable of running Japanese DC games. So we don’t need any extra DCs, I don’t think.
We also have a couple of DC-PS2 converters…so we only need 2 more, I think.
We will probably need a Japanese DC copy of CvS2 (I still don’t see the difference in DC and PS2 versions besides load times, but that’s a debate for another time).
Marvel, I think, we should have covered. I have an actual copy of DC Marvel myself if all else fails.

DeToX (the owner) says we could be getting a Japanese PS2 before the tourney, but in any case we’ll need somebody from Winston and Durham to bring at least one other modded PS2 because we WILL be running NGBC, Slash, and KOF XI. You hear that Triad and RalHam Hill?? I expect you ALL to show up and represent SNK and Guilty Gear! :rofl:
Due to the experience factor, since it’s our first time I humbly request Beast of Fire, Lu, and Orochi to run Slash, NeoGeo, and KOF XI respectively…that is, if they so desire :china:
Oh yeah…and if we want Max Impact 2 to go down, we also need someone to bring in a copy.

We will probably have enough American PS2s so nobody has to worry about that.
GameLAN’d already has a copy of SF Anniversary as well as HD copies. That covers 3S and Hyper SF2 so no worries there.
I can bring Alpha.
Melee is also at the store.
Naruto 4, we could be getting. Whether it goes down is all due to sign-ups, of course. But the store has enough Gamecubes (including one which can read Japanese games) so no worries on Cubes.

So, if you’re keeping score…

All we need:

—At least one modded/JAP PS2 system.
More can be brought for casuals. Personally, I’d love to see some NGBC casuals as lots of people are really starting to get interested in the game.

Everyone that told me they would bring stuff, (pm or on the forum) please do so, so we can have a causal and a tournie area. Also, anyone else feel free to bring stuff.(to make tournie go faster and so that the causal area is more active.) Be sure to tell me so I can plan for it. Basicly bring games if you want more for casual play.

I’ll be there for 3S and CvS2. I can bring in a DC > PS2 convertor. Also, does the copy of CvS2 HAVE to be Japanese? I can bring in a burned copy (or two) of CvS2 if the DC can play them.

KOF XI WILL be Arcade mode, and the bosses will be banned, but the console-exclusive characters and mid-bosses allowed.

As HSF2, only Akuma is banned. I think we can allow WW characters without any major conflicts.

I think we should scrap Max Impact 2 this time around.

Since the American version is coming out Aug 16 (“BIG WEDNESDAY!”), and the fact we already have plenty of minors…I think it’s just best to wait for the next tourney.
