I’ve never played a Slayer there but I can get out of that throw trap, especially with Zappa. More people need to realize how fun, complex and just overall great that game is. Sure, it breaks down into Sol dust loop battles at the top but no one wants to play the Japanese at that game anyway. It has everything.

Also, is the MK2 game over there hella loud? Or is it at least loud enough to make out what everyone is saying on the game?.. Is it in stereo (bass, etc.)

Sup Mike, you’re one of the very few good S-groove players out there. Its always a great challenge to play you. And as for last Sunday, I heard you was there but we didnt get a chance to have a match since me, van, gordon, and charlie didnt show up at new park until 3pm. Damn! Well, it’s most likely that we’ll be at New Park every Sundays now. We’re also gonna head up to Berkeley for the weeklies this thursday, and then to the SJSU tourney this Saturday. Also, have you guys ever played the hacked version of Mortal Kombat II where the character line-ups are random except for Shao Kahn is always last. So in other words you can have Noob Saibot or Kintaro as your first character you gotta face. I think it’s called Mortal Kombat challenger. Yes, they had hacks too, like old school Street Fighter II rainbow edition, etc.
