GGs to all I played today. Played like doo doo in both tournaments… Only thing that allowed me to go 2-2 in SFxT is that I play an “R” tier character.

Per June 2 Bawse Fights being cancelled, Jose, everyone had obligations they switched around or asked for off for this tournament, it’s pretty crazy to just “cancel” it because of an issue you have with one guy. I mean, our state/scene is not very large scale and this actually was turning out to be a pretty hyped up larger scale event, I just wish if you were stepping down you would have at least had someone take your place. Myself, Chris Brown, and Richard would have gladly come up there and run it if we would have known but this shouldn’t have anything to do with all of the players who were planning on attending. I’m not really sure what to say to the whole thing, it’s just a thing between you and him, all of us shouldn’t be punished because of that.
I mean, not everyone gets along with everyone and not everyone likes to be social and talk to everyone, but it really should have absolutely nothing to do with a planned event that is barely over a month away…

I NEVER say anything about what anyone in this thread posts but it gets old seeing people say that Nashville (or whatever city) is free, this person sucks, etc. Congrats to Woot and Shin for 1st. They both deserved their wins but I guess SFxTK, SCV and MVC3 doesn’t mean anything? Josh only lost to Woot (in some close matches too) and got 2nd in AE but do you hear Woot saying how free Knoxville or Nashville is? No, you don’t because he respects his fellow players. I have never seen or heard of Shinblade or Majin or even Josh come on here and say how this or that area is free. They just don’t do it. All of the areas in this state have players that are better at certain games. It really all comes down to respect, whether you are better than someone or not and there is a serious lack of that going on in this state sometimes. I think that is how you continue to help your scene as a whole to grow. Friendly rivalries such as Memphis vs Nashville or TN vs GA are great as long as it isn’t taken to far. Anyway, you all can tell me to shut the hell up and that is cool. I just wanted to give my opinion.

Edit: For the record I am NOT referring to the joking around that sometimes takes place saying someone is free. I am referring to the constant stating that (insert name or place) is free stuff where people are not joking around.
