Richard/Mike - Mike pretty much captured it but I played the shit out of those games and wanted to chime in. No need to spend time on NBA Street 3 or Homecourt. Damn them if they didn’t try, but it just doesn’t have the magic of the original games.
for NFL Street, I’d say go with 1 and 2. Those were both excellent arcade style sports games IMO. I’ve never played FIFA Street but have heard good things.

Astaroth, myself and a bunch of friends are going to see the opening night of Avengers tmrw night. Beforehand, we will all be chilling at my friends (Adrian Riser is his name if that rings a bell at all) apartment and play a bunch of FGs (Marvel/KOF/AE etc.) and he wanted to know if you’d be down in joining us. He lives close to MTSU.
@ Chris B: Yea a little. Been struggling to find time for it in between other stuff. Plus I got Uncharted 3 back in my life and suffering through the balance patch that happened while I wasn’t playing it for months. As for SSX, I plan to get on it strong, and put up some truly competitive scores, which I haven’t. I got some monsters on my friendslist that just desecrate anything. But I’ll prob grind out some characters before I go on this warpath. DLC is pretty nice. Gonna eventually get Retro Moby to Lvl 11. Then I’ll use him for heavy hitter races and survive stuff. And I’ll grind out one of the tricksters(prob Ty or Retro Mac or Retro Kaori) and hit up GE freestyles.
Ugh…too much I wanna do in that game.

I hear you Mike. I still haven’t beaten the last DD lol. I really wanna beat it and start grinding characters [pause] and scores in Explore mode, but every time I go to try it I remember why I stopped at that part. So dumb/annoying.

I’ll go ahead and say this tho - I WILL take MMs in NFL Blitz. '99-'01 as they are all the same game but with updated rosters and slightly different features. I LOVE those games and like to think I’m pretty good at them. the new Blitz is very good and has that nostalgic feel, but is missing something that I can’t quite place that keeps it from being on the level of the old games. Might be the absence of late hits…

Vega match-up tip don’t fear wall dives but still respect them. dash on wake-up if you are getting thrown but a good Vega should not be doing a wall dive on your wake-up its not the safest thing to do.
