God I cannot wait for this game. It has all my inner child’s favorite things about the TFs in one place.

I want to make a long post on that… experience, but I don’t have the energy right now. Do you know how incredibly frustrating it is to see most of the people you DOMINATED in casuals in the top 8 while you’re out? Those bracket dudes need to learn to seed, or at least listen to the players. That’s all I’m saying.
Sara, you’re always an awesome host. Spending your own time and resources to ensure I had a chair is going above and beyond. I have to at least buy you lunch or pay an entree fee for you next Saturday.

He used EX Terry (Terrence Howard Bogard version). Terry is the chara that can flatout wreck you if you don’t know about him or are careless, and then even if you are familiar you still have to respect him all the same. We talked about it between matches. If he could set a good tempo with Terry, straight cornbread if need be, then the rest of the set should fall into place. Those dudes were already using heavy-hitters off top, one mistake could lead to major damage, regardless if they had meter or not. That’s just how K’, Kyo, and Kula are built. So he had to use that patented “creep up technology” with Terry to get in and lay the blueprint. From there, it’d be no worries with Kyo as middleman and especially King to cleanup. But he actually ended up STALKING niggas with Terry(if he walks up and ponytail starts blowing in the wind then you know he got capers), Kyo just grinning and choking em out as a result of him forcing them to do dumb shit, and all King had to do was breathe, if they even got that far. He ran it well. 6-0 grand finals sweep in KoF is as legit as it gets.
Anyway, just glad my homie could take it since he actually likes this game alot. It was a honest win.

That trailer didn’t do anything for me, but just knowing that it’s the sequel to WFC makes it an instant buy. I heard they’re doing way more service to fans and lore (as if WFC wasn’t solid enough). I think they are actually coming to Earth in this one too, so I’ll miss those sick Cybertronian cities.
Like I said though, it’d most likely be a day 1 cop for me, and my online would get a good workout again with probably co-oping the whole campaign and most definitely wasting lots of time in the multiplayer. They built DotM’s online from WfC and “enhanced” it, and WfC still ended up being way better. So I hope FoC doesn’t attempt to do toooooo much, or stray too far from what made WfC notorized as the best Transformers game. Hell, it made me actually take a true liking to Transformers, same way that Arkham Asylum and Arkham City did for Batman. But way more fun to be had with “Gears of War” Transformers.

Actually, the highlight of that whole night was Chris asking a dude if he had some mexican in him while that guy was getting ready to play another dude in KoF, he said “I AM Mexican” and Chris immediately looks at the other dude and goes “Dude you fucked”
Sorry we couldn’t take UmVC or SF but we will get them next time and we need to come deep if we going out of state. All my matches off screen in general was horrible because of the stank and it gave me a slight major headache. Astroboy, Kinect, Arson, NJustice StoryT was closeby but that wasn’t enough to overcome the smell. People really need to watch their odor and letting loose in public. Couldn’t smell nothing on the stage though wish all my Marvel matches was up their.
I appreciate all the congrats TN we had to take something back home. Big props to Flymike for the advice on that Loser Bracket/6-0 Grand finals comeback sweep. Lol he sounded like the dad on his son that just got beat up at school in 2nd grade. He was partly the reason why I played Terry and King like that.

I agree there were some screwups across the board but to be fair it’s hard to seed when you have so many out of town players coming. Aside from the known players like Raekwon (who got left out of KoF btw) it can be hard to know what everyone’s skill level is beforehand.
I suggest next time bringing a bunch of laptops and using Tonamento or Challonge, paper brackets are bracket mishaps waiting to happen.
I know running a tournament is hard work and shit happens so I’m not upset. The people responsible seemed genuinely sorry for it and learned what to do next time. It was a cool tournament regardless. Hopefully I’ll get to see you guys again, though probably not for a while, I’m taking a break from traveling until FR.

because tournaments were maxing out in the 20+ area, she meant there were 66 people total there hanging out. I think.
Well in that case, there’s no reason at all for people to be getting left out of anything. 20 people is not THAT hard to keep track of.

I understand this, but they knew who I was and how I play. Raekwon, Shinblade, Orpheus, and I should have been separated as much as possible. We’ve all placed top in Marvel tournaments in the last few months.
Oh well. Hopefully they learn from these mistakes.
Paper brackets are very easy but people are so used to “computers” they don’t know how to make a loser’s bracket and follow along with it…
Computer brackets have problems as well, you have to watch if you need to float out of towners that came far…if it is mostly locals then random brackets or seeding the top 4-6 from last tournament usually work…
Gotta epic LOL at the guys down in AL that prefer HDR over ST though…like, how can there be any logic in a tournament setting to playing that came over classic ST? It makes absolutely no sense…and I play HDR really well, but that game is super mad scrubby and didn’t need to even exist…it’s a “fan” translation if you really want to talk about it because it’s as laughable as it gets…WATCH OUT GUYS I NEED MY HONDA FP HHS because I can’t do it well on arcade machine. LOOK OUT GUYS. NEED EASY MOVES FOR RYU and ZANGIEF, CAN’T DO 360s OTHERWISE…I still don’t understand the reasoning for the game to even be made in the first place…ST was fine and is fine.

HDR is ass. I guess if its all you have to play then its ok, but even playing ST free on ggpo is much better.
