Yep, GGs indeed. Although, they weren’t matches as much as they were “which character can Jason pick to rape Hugo” moments. lol
I don’t think I was doing too bad though. Still having trouble with 360s/720s in this game. Air parrying Jacob Ford’s stuff into 720 was a highlight for me.
Once you get Hugo’s parrying system down, you’ll be doing ANYTHING into 360 or sweep and that is where he becomes frightening…

I’ll be announcing (or Richard will) a tournament “probably for the 10th” which will have 3s, AE, MVC3 AND MK…just need to clear some stuff up for Richard and that will be the biggest tournament we have had (game wise) in awhile…

So that’s the trick, so to speak with Hugo? Mastering parry into spd/sweep? Does he have other wakeup tricks aside from whiffs into spd?
Yeah, I discovered last night that parries are probably the most important thing to learn for Hugo. Otherwise, you’ll be completely screwed in some matchups. Your antiair is parry into 360 or parry into sweep.
The other half is pokes. Learn the normals and poke accordingly. You’ll win some matches just by poking the entire time.
As for wakeup tricks, overheads also work for Hugo. St. Fierce is an overhead, as is MP + MK. Even on hit, you can do 360/720, especially when you take a step afterwards.
With the hell is 3s? Are you guys talking about a game on the nintendo 3ds or someshit?
So what your saying is that even on hit, the opponent still recovers from hitstun in time to eat an spd? I must test this out.

While waiting a split second, yes, it does work. You can buffer the last part of a 720 and walk forward simultaneously to wait for the hitstun to diminish.
I love when people who complain about broken characters get hype about Third Strike. 
Try looking up the top 8 in the last few years 3s was in EVO lol.
