UP Should be open by next week tuesday from what I’ve heard from the short boi with braids down there. From what i’ve seem from outside is that they got plenty of redemption games in there and I believe that there is no more pool tables but the jukebox is still around:yawn:

G.A.M.M.E. is looking to be quite insane. Any tourney that is bringing out HUGE Japanese names like that has got to be hype as fuck. Looks like The Tea Boss is going and even Big E is a pool handler to rep Philly so you KNOW shit has got to be hella legit at the very least.
If this were ANYWHERE near the Northeast I would def be going. Unfort, it’s either this or Evo for a lot of people including myself, so I’m just gonna hope for a nice stream.

I took a peek at UP, not open yet though, Monday is the date they have set, possibly Sunday if they get everything set up.
They are NOT getting rid of their fighting games, I caught the owner outside and talked to him for a few minutes, really nice guy. He mentioned that they got new widescreen monitors for their SFIV setup. He said that he wanted to have ten fighting games set up, I don’t recall them having that kind of number going last time I was up there.
As far as scaling back? He said he had no problems with buying new games, so long as he’s got people to play. I specifically asked about BB:Continuum Shift, hopefully we can stir up enough interest for him to get that.
