He said something about American sticks looking clunky/heavy and he inferred from that the players couldn’t be as good and precise because the Japanese ones are better easier to use. Then said it was ignorant for him to say that. He never called America free.
He did say the reason why Jwong can’t beat him @ SB4 though. Cause his style was about punishing and where he plays they don’t whiff anything to punish I believe. But still said he was a 10, Daigos too GDLK! :china:

Awesome thanks Doc. That’s upsetting that players at NEC were mad at Daigo for saying “America’s free”, and that is totally false after reading. And of course they’ll never read it, but they probably suck at sf and life anyway. Def a good read, learning about the life of a deity.

Who would be down for some games at my place out in Upper Darby (very near 69th St Terminal) TONIGHT? (Saturday, January 2nd 2010)
I was going to go out and watch UFC, but since my parents are gonna be out of the house for the night, I was thinking of maybe hosting something while I still can. If this happens, I’ll be streaming the UFC fights here as well so whomever is interested can watch.
I would need some people to bring some extra consoles + cables since I only have a ps3 + xbox. I have enough displays, so we can get 5 nice setups in my basement easy.
So we can start this by 8PM at the latest, the deadline for feedback for this will be 7PM. If there is not enough interest [at least 6~7 or more interested players] by the set deadline to make this worthwhile, I’ll just skip for now and I’ll try to host something another time.
If a lot of people are interested by say, 4 or 5PM, we can even get this started at 6PM.

At the louisiana tournament right now. My stick broke right before my first match somehow (there’s a short in it somewhere, ill let spektrum look at it when I get back). Won with a borrowed stick though.

Incase anyone wasn’t aware/didn’t remember, casuals at zacks tonight and they are starting at 8pm.
Sucks that happened, but glad you got something sorted to still play. Let me know when you’re back and I’ll take a look at it. You could always drop it off at my work during lunch since you’re so close.

Can’t make it unfortunately because I don’t have the car to transport me and my setup tonight…part of the reason why I tried to host also.
No worries. We wouldn’t need your setup tonight though, so you could always take the trains in.
