Dex is way nerfed in this. Even bows don’t scale as well with DEX once you upgrade to magic bows that scale at S rank with INT/FAITH.

Unless you are going for a katana build, in which Dex would actually make sense.

lol might as well keep doing what I’m doing. I could probably stop DEX at 22-24 and be ok, then load up on STR to salvage the build. idk

Currently the way weapons and scaling work, if you are just planning to finish the game, upgrading weapons to lightning removes scaling, but does enough damage to get you through endgame.

I used to be ok at DDR…passed everything except PSMO. I think I got an A on Max 300 once. ITG3 is too fucking hardcore though, I’m not fit enough for that shit lol.

That reminds me I need to start playing IIDX again.

Found a pretty decent looking STR build on a forum, check it out

My first character was a strength tank. When I beat the Final Boss, I was using:
-Armor: Mask of the Mother, Havel’s Armor/Gauntlets/Leggings
-Weapon: Greatclub +15
-Shield: Grass Crest Shield or Sanctus (on back)
-Rings: Ring of Divine Favor & Protection, Havel’s Ring
-Spells: Iron Flesh & Heal

He was wrecking everything in sight. At 40 Str/40 End/30 Vit, he had upwards of 1500 HP, 180 Stamina, & was he was 1-shotting almost everything. With the addition of Poise, Strength builds are a lot more dangerous, imo.

I had a chance to go and stay with some old friends from Alabama but I’m not…I’m going to FR15 though and probably the next ARK whenever that is. I’m just not serious/good enough right now to justify the expense of going.
