Emma would be interesting (and her costumes have always been hot), her diamond form would be interesting, probably like some form of super armor.

I also think the hooded figure has a chance of being Ronan the Accuser. I expect to see a lot of continuity from recent comic book events, with a few surprises which Capcom is prone to.
Actually, given interviews, it seems that characters are going to be in their more “classic” incarnations, instead of completely up to date. The example given is that Spider-Man would be his usual married photographer self, rather than a unemployed guy who sold his marrige to the devil. Thus, I’m guessing Cap will be Steve, instead of Bucky.
And the Ronan thing doesn’t make any sense. Doom is just as relivant as he always was what with that whole Marquis of Death thing, the Cabal, Dark Avengers, and Doom War, and Ronan’s role really wasn’t anything that big. Super Skrull on the other hand was probably put in because he could represent all the Fantastic Four at once, and not just due to the fact that Secret Invasion was going on. (Which he didn’t really have much of a role in, but whatever)
True, but Iron Man has an up-to-date look consistent with his recent comic book appearances. That doesn’t mean his story is up-to-date, but he looks “new.”
Ronan makes as much sense as Dormammu or Frank West. I also think the silhouette shows the cape riding off the shoulder more similarly to Ronan than to Doom. Come on, you’ve got a Skrull in there, why not a Kree?
dormammu is WAAAAAY too strong to be a regular combatant.
I suppose. Iron Man though is a bit of an odd character though, due to the fact that he changes armor so often.
Captain Marvel would be more appropriate than Ronan though.
As far as the cape thing though, I don’t think anything can be concluded, but it just seems much more likely that its Doom, because Doom is one of Marvel’s leading villains, right next to Magneto. Saying that the caped guy is someone else, like Ronan, is like saying wing-head is USAgent rather than Cap.
Uh…Shuma Gorath? Shuma Gorath is more powerful than Dormammu.
Not to mention Thanos, who kind of had the Infinity Gauntlet there.
I’d be down for Genis-Vell being as Captain Mar-Vell, but Ronan is a bit more on the relevant side due to DnA & the whole Annihilation Saga & War of Kings.

I don’t think that one guy is super skrull, it wouldn’t make sense to put him in if the whole f4 wasn’t included. Not to mention he’s not really that popular a character to go in without f4. It’s probably Hawkeye or some other guy with pointy eye things on his mask. I also doubt the hooded guy is Dr. Doom because of that, but then again it may be.
The producer said that he couldn’t get the rights to any Fantastic Four character, then Marvel said “Why don’t you use this character instead?”. Obviously this means that marvel suggested using Super Skrull, who has all the powers of the F4. Also on the game cover there’s a guy with pointy ears, pointed shoulder pads, and an arm that looks like a stretchy version of The Thing’s. You can’t get more sure than that.
Every fiber of my being tells me you’re wrong in both cases, but you could end up being right. I SERIOUSLY doubt it though. Also I know this game isn’t supposed to make a whole lot of sense continuity wise, but unless it’s 4 v 4 (which I hope it isn’t) it just wouldn’t feel right to have the Fantastic 4. Sure it could end up being a shitty team, but c’mon if they’re in the game you’ve got to be able to do it.
As it’s 3d they can skin the characters as they please. So while Wovlie classic seems to be the mode there’s nothing stopping them from reskinning him.
As far as Ghost rider or Dormammu is concerned. If all the character silhouettes were not them standing, facing straight forward then I could see it maybe being Ghost Rider on his bike which, may account for the “collar” if he was doing a wheelie or something. That’s a stretch, yes. As it stands, it looks most like Dormammu or even Mephisto. Hell, MSH came out and plenty of people were intrigued about Shuma (and maybe even blackheart to an extent) so I can’t rule out Dormammu. As far as canonical strength is concerned, you can pretty much throw the idea out the window unless the character is a boss.
I mean it does really look like Super Skrull, it’s just that to me it would be really dumb to put him in without a single member of the f4, especially with Dr. Doom considering that they’re both f4’s common enemies.
I don’t think that really matters.
He has all of their powers, so placing one of them in the game is not needed.
