WTF?
Are -both- MVC2 machines in Tilt gone or is my friend Blea mistaken? If they are did someone in the area buy them? I know that no one played in the arcade anymore, but this still sucks for Cruces IMO. Then again, I have my doubts about whether anyone around here besides Rowjoe and maybe Red (Adam/Poacher) play anymore.
They went to a Tilt in Houston or something. We have one cabinet in the back just for us, though. There’s a few of us that play and I’ve taught them pretty much everything I know. They’re pretty decent IMO.
Ran into Adam a while back at Best Buy but I don’t think he’s been playing. I know he’s still got the skills even if he’s a little rusty.
Scott, I PMed you my # so if you wanna play and you’ve got a stick let’s set something up. Call Adam! I miss the old MvC2 days here. =(

I hang out with Blea and we were trying to get together sometime to play capcom and throw darts. I do have sticks- they are Adam’s old one’s and I think they technically still belong to Blea. I just came back from Arizona today and had the itch to play but I couldn’t get a hold of either of them.
Just so you know, even though Blea and Adam started out under me in a way, they both far surpassed me and without any kind of practice I now suck pretty bad. I’ve heard that you’ve surpassed them and anyone else in the area (state?) and I’m happy about that…I think that I had an effect in some way, with me bringing stuff from AZ and getting Blea into it, us making Red better and it all trickling down.
Here’s my thing, if we play, it is likely you’re going to win 99/100. I also heard you always play the same team every time no matter what. I hope this isn’t the case because it takes the fun out of things…but for your sake, you should have other characters to rotate in and out just in case someone better than you just stifles your team. This is how Blea and I won some matches in AZ, because we mixed it up with some wacky characters and did things that were unexpected. I do have your number but I want you to read this and respond before we set something up.

Adam definitely helped me get where I am now, along with the EP guys. For the most part I play Row and MSS but I can play some other teams. IM and S/D are pretty interesting to me. Row is so fun for me that I usually stick to that team, though.
Drew - I’ll see what I can do since I’ll be juggling school and work. When will you be in ABQ?

well there is an MVC2 on the floor now (as of yesterday), so I don’t know if that is a change…not a soul in the arcade and no less than -5- (!!!) MVC1 machines. Seriously, wtf is with this horrible arcade. I could go on and on about Tilt, but I’ll leave it at this: it is run like shit.
Blea and I have been getting together a little bit and there may be some interest from other parties…by no means top tier comp but we are getting back into the groove of things. Too bad Adam is gone.

Anyways, DJ was interested in playing tomarrow. And I would lilke to get some more Marvel2 action in as well. I know you guys are rusty for not playing in like 3 years, but Marvel2 is still hella fun and would be willing to help you guys get back in shape. We need more players for games that is’nt 3S.
