my name is Thanh and this year i’m hosting the “Oklahoma State Championships '07” and it’d be tight for NM to represent. i know for sure some TX crew is coming and this tourney will be a big one so go to this thread and post up if you’re gonna come. lemme kno of any concerns! i know its a long drive but i thought it wouldnt hurt to offer.
I’m using a custom stick. Sanwa JLF series stick and Sanwa OBSN-30 style buttons. I like the stick, but since people actually use GOOD 360’s down here, I’m getting more used to using those again. A lot of people say that Marvel2 is not good for a sanwa stick. I would agree for the most part. While I can get fast flies rather well, I also tend to get a lot of moves buffered by accident. So if you’re using the stick just for Marvel, get an american stick.
As for Marvel2 versions, there are different versions anyways. For the most part, they are all the same. A glitch or two are not in the US version compared to the Japanese version.
OBSF 30 Sanwa Snap-ins for the buttons, JLF TP-8Y Sanwa stick. Works like a charm.
Still, if you’re playing Marvel, go American. Better yet, buy a MAS.
