I hope they stole my credit card info so they can go out to eat and get declined. Or they could get a fake ID and go to my bank and drain all the money out of course there net profit would be like $1.89 which is more than you’d expect out of someone as free as me.
Offline>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Live or PSN (until they use GGPPO)
Yeah, Xbux are bullshit. Though they changed the system a while months ago so you can buy them in 400, 800, 1200, etc so you aren’t always buying 200 more allards than you need.
The advertisement thing is stupid though. Required viewing of ads after paying for MS’s still laggy service is lame.
So I’m here to beg for a ride again on friday assuming things are still going down. Anyone feeling up to the task? Again, offering money in exchange for the ride.
So this Friday (4/29) we’re going to have two tournaments!
First up will be the Tekken 6 tournament. It’ll be $5 and start at 8PM. Standard rules (3/5 rounds, 2/3 matches, 3/5 matches for finals, etc) will apply. It’ll be a PS3 tournament.
Next up will be SSF4! It’ll also be $5 and start between 9-9:30PM, depending on how long Tekken takes. Standard rules (2/3 round, 2/3 matches, 3/5 matches for finals, etc) also apply. It’ll also be a PS3 tournament.
In the second room I’ll have an PS3/Xbox (not sure which ATM, depends on how may extra consoles we get) running Mahvel and MK casuals/MMs for everyone.
Casuals will start as normal at 7PM for anyone that just wants to play MK/Mahvel/SF/T6 for fun.
This week may be extra tight on consoles/TVs so if anyone has the ability to bring a console/TV, please do so. It’ll make the tournies run much smoother. Also, I don’t have any copies of T6, so if at least two (pref three) could bring their copies to play that’d be excellent!
As always my number is 977-3177 if you get lost!
Hope to see everyone on Friday!
EDIT: Are those Tekken rules correct? I stole them from Pi’s tourney thread on the other board lol.
I’m sorry Jimmy I really am but I had to on this one it just … you know…felt right. Next time I see you, you have permission to stab me for all this or I can buy you some beer but I have a feeling I’m gonna get the shank.
Golden Fantasia is a game based on a visual novel/anime series called “Umineko no Naku Koro Ni”. It’s rather popular in the Doujinsoft fighters scene. It has a really strange activation/counter activation system, but otherwise plays a lot like KoF 11 in which you could tag your characters in and out at will or even in mid combo. The game is animated well, though I personally can’t stand the art style. Lots of fanservice, if you’re into that sort of thing.
I don’t know anything about the story/series since I don’t give a damn about that sort of thing.
