I was about to beat him, but instead of sweeping after I caught him with the spear, I hit him with a high and he golden fleeced out of the stun.

GGs to the people I played in Marvel, and always a good time just hangin’ out and shootin’ the shit. I’m just glad to be out of the house and hanging out with some people. Extra special thanks to those who lent me a hand with the rides, and hopefully next time I’ll get to play more people and talk some shit about MK some more hahaha
Oh man, I’m sure this is going to get some seriously fierce comp from other areas for this event, and will be excellent practice for Evo. Not to mention I’m going to want that 1k myself. I’m excited!

And Pi, that tourney sounds awesome! I’m already signed up for MK and MVC! As always my PS3 with AE/MVC/MK is available if you need it. As a recommendation, I’d say ban Kratos in MK. It’s kinda unfair to Xbox players to play against him as we found out last night. :\
imo, kratos should be banned unless his opponent allows him to use kratos.

Kratos is fine. I mean I agree with banning due to exclusivity in larger tournaments, but as a character he’s not that great.
Yeah I guess I phrased what I meant wrong.
He’s not a broken character but he does have some dumb moves that will take someone off guard, especially if they haven’t played against him. That’s a lot of what happened last night, imo.

I gotta throw some respect to Davis, he played well, even if it was with a character that I’d never seen and didn’t understand at all. It still would have been a tough match even without Kratos.

As far as Kratos being allowed if both players approve, that’s effectively a ban. No one is going to bother learning tourney level play on two characters on the off chance that they manage to play someone who doesn’t mind Kratos. Especially cause anyone with an Xbox will just say no (like Nancy Reagan).
