Yeah, supposedly the build at Captivate is already multiple months old. Considering Capcom has been releasing fighters in Q1, I think they’ll have plenty of time to work on this. At least I hope that is the case because videos are showing a game in need of some work.
Especially the UI. Get that rainbow HP bar the F out of here!
I do think the the Ono and Co took some interesting stuff from Tekken. The big air juggles and zoom in on throws is a neat touch. There may be more, but I haven’t played a Tekken with any regularity since 4.

Well just for you Pat (since I’d hate to see you cry…I know how you can get).
Tomorrow night we’ll do a MVC3 $5 tourney at my place at 8PM. I’ll also have casuals starting at 7PM as well, so if people want to come by early to get some free games feel welcome!
In the other room I’ll have the truest king of the fighting genre representing, Jackie Chan! For those that weren’t by the last time, you may not have played it before, but trust me, you’ll be in love immediately. You can see some video of it @ Giant Bomb and get a quick tutorial on moves and combos from this SRK thread. I’ll have plenty of move lists available as well.
As always if anyone can bring some extra games/console/TVs/sticks, they are always appreciated.
