umm, the tourney is getting closer, yeeee. hopefully i get a job soon so i have some extra money to put down for money matches. i want lots and lots of mvc2 that weekend…lots!

is there a reasonably priced hotel close to the venue? last time we crashed at garrett’s which was very generous, but some of us were pretty tired since we didn’t have a hotel room. naps are nice…

anyway, hopefully i’ll get to finally meet you Grimm and see how i fare. =) these tournies are always fun, wheee. =D

p.s. i saw the thread for the tourney…should try to get that changed and include the amount of prize money and such in the thread title title to attract more attention.

As for hotels to stay at when you guys are up here, there’s a Holiday in a couple blocks away from the venue, and a Super 8 Motel one more block away… there might be a couple others, but I’m sure there should be no real shortage on places to stay.

Well, it was a good tourney IMO…except for the delay in MVC2 that was like 2 or 3 hours. =P I was waiting for loser’s bracket to end so we could finally start grand finals…oh well, at least it did finish eventually. Hopefully the next tourney will get a bigger turnout for 2D stuff and we can actually run GGS.

Brett - Your MSP is a lot more solid now. I guess I need to play against more MSPs over here… Keep it up man. Maybe next time we’ll take you up on the drinking. :lol:

Pi - Damn, Tron is a skank. I think you were getting the hang of fighting Sent better on Sunday. Keep playing your team, have fun with it, and keep on progressing. Your Tilt is in pretty good shape, so props for being manager and actually caring about your store.
