A) My car sucks and I chanced it last time to go to your BBQ/Soul Cal State Championships, luckily I made it home and it still runs
B) I have a wife and 2 kids, I have to pitch in around my house and cook and clean or get all kinds of dirty looks and attitude from the wife.
C) I’m poor right now, not much spare income for gas or entry fees
D) I absolutely have no desire to play SF4, practice it, look at it, etc. And when I do, I still get my ass handed to me.
E) I said I would TRY to go. You even quoted me, what part of “no guarantees” didn’t you understand in that.
When things weren’t so complicated, do you know how many times I used to drive to ABQ to play down there? TONS!!! Rey, Garrett, and the Chavez bros can attest to that. It’s just not easy for me to tell my woman that I’m headed out for 4 or 5 hours to play games when I got responsibilities.
BUT, I at lest post up and say that I will try to make it, because in all honesty, I would still like to support you guys. But on our stuff, all we get is veiws and no posts. Some people say “I gotta work” or something like that, so at least we know. I mean, are we a community or not? Can we not communicate at the very LEAST thru the boards.
And can you even tell me WHY we have a NVGA board? Seriously, that place is a JOKE with a capital J. Keep the website, scrap the boards cuz nobody uses them. If I can support you guys, I will, and have. I’ve entered many of street fighter tournaments already, STRICTLY to donate to whoever’s gonna take 1st place, or whoever’s going to cash, cuz I sure as hell didn’t enter in hopes of winning.
Now then, on to business. I have a dual shock 1 series H I believe, the grey ones that came with the PSOne, that you can use to put in that yellow stick if need be. You can hack those one’s right? Then I’m probably going to give the JLF in my purple one to Slip so they can hook up their last stick. I’m out!!!
