I’m gonna try to make it to the tourney Saturday but my Dad is coming to town so we’ll see. I should be able to go anyway. I just can’t stick around too long afterward.

I don’t know if you guys know about this:

SF4 SouthWest 5on5 Invitational Qualifier
As of right now, the qualifier will be ran on friday, at evo, probably early in the day. Considering that I may have to commandeer a BYOC tv to run this qualifier(and only 1 tv at that). To prevent a super huge tourney(im not running a 38765345 man tourney on 1 setup, i got things i want to do at evo too), I’m probably going to select the top 5 players from each state, based on tournament results in their state. I won’t make this list til late june, since there is still plenty of time for tourney results to pile up.

I figure this is the best way to handle this. I think pulling top 5 from each region is a fair way to do this.

The big problem however, is the 1 character limit in the final team for the invitational. we obviously cant have a team with 5 boxers, or even 2. I really would like to hear suggestions on how to solve this problem. Any idea i can think of are possible solutions, but it will result in people getting pissed off more than likely.

I could:

1. just do this tourney normal and top 5 placers, regardless if they use same character, are on the team, and some people will have to MAN UP and use another character. But the problem with that, is that it could compromise the team. If player A uses boxer and qualifies, but player B also uses boxer and qualifies, B decides that he will drop his boxer and use ryu(his second best). But the problem now lies within the fact that, was player B’s ryu good enough to even qualify in this tourney?

2. if, for example, we have 2 boxers in top 5. they can have a set to battle out who gets the spot on the team as the boxer player, the loser does NOT get a spot on the team, and the 6th place finisher(if hes using a unique character) get’s on the team.

ANY other suggestions would be highly appreciated

I am already accepting the fact that no matter however this is figured out, there will be pissed off people at me or whatever. SOmeone is ultimately gonna get screwed, and I will have to accept that. I just hope people are seeing that I am trying to keep it as fair as possible.

I WILL not just hand pick this team(unless its an absolute last resort), so dont bother suggesting it. SW region is just too unknown on who is best(texas can assume all they want that they are the best, but there is no hard data to prove this).

Practice up, and let’s make this team as good as it can be!

Yeah I guess. We just traded cases which is good now I have a JLF stick since I already have an ls40 stick and I really do love Ghost of Satrman but I love this Mahogany also so with the JLF they won’t compete for play time. I do need to get those start and guide buttons drilled since I never got those tools.

I feel really bad about this 360 wireless pcb I just can’t get it to work I should have tested it before I took of the casing but I had traded faggot Zal for 2 ps pcb’s and some work thanks Zack. I still am gonna test one more thing though.

Zero if and when you come over today can you bring your play n charge kit for the 360 controller that will really help me make sure this pcb is really junk or just a bad hack job by me.
