Alright two things.
First off whats up niggas, we need to have some console meetups seriously. A place to bring our systems, games and sticks and play / practice. If anyone could help with that, we could increase our skillz by 45+ exp points. This means even for the cruces people, i believe its a 4 hour drive and as long as i can get people to come with me i wouldnt mind comming for a weekend and playing.
Second of all, Pi is asking if people wanna go to texas showdown. Spacey and pi are going and I’m in as well. The tournament is in march so who wants to roadtrip down there and hopefully put up a fight at the tourneys? I dunno anything other than that right now and since pi never posts i decided to put it up.
Sorry, no post in a long time. I’d like to get together more frequently too. I’ve just been so damn busy with work… school… Xbox 360… thanksgiving, and the like. Anyway, I might be able to hold something at my house one of these times. As long as people respect my shit… I have 4 TV’s and four Xbox’s set up for Halo right now, but I’m sure we could use those set-ups for something else… we’ll see. I probably wouldn’t be able to start until January anyway. It would be better if we could get a public place to do it. We should try and hit up a local collectibles store, or used games store. Oooo, maybe we could hit up that UNM Anime Club guy who was posting for GGXX on the X-topia forums… that’s a really good idea. Something public where we could use university TVs or projectors would be awesome… plus we could try and get more people to come from posting on UNM campus… I’ll try to figure that out if it will work. Maybe we could come up with something more makeshift for the time being though.
I’ll also be down for going to TS if it works around my school schedule.

well, i wasn’t too sure about it before, but if i get a job next semester, i’ll save up for ts6. how are you guys going to get there? we’re sick of driving, so i think we’re gonna fly, haha. so, yeah, if there’s time in my schedule, we’ll probably go…woo. can’t wait to get beasted by all the badass houston mvc2 guys. =D
check the price for tickets…i might just do that to.
but we we’re just thinking of driving there…but that’s a pretty far from here to houston.
it’s like 700+ miles from cruces to houston i think, so add a couple hundred more for you guys. =O flying is the way to go, unless it’s too expensive. if we drive, gas will still be hella expensive.
good point i dont mind flyin plus well get there quicker and be able to practice more. but we would still have to pay for hotel so i say its cheaper to drive.
ROAD TRIP GUYS C’MON. Besides driving is cheaper when its dispersed among several people. 700miles aint shit, i did that by myself in august.

well, i know that driving is cheaper…eh, i guess if i don’t have to drive again, whateva, i’m down. road trips are fun, yeah…but the trip back sucks, lol. keep in mind it’s 700 miles for me, not you guys, it’ll be like 1800 miles in total for you guys. =O well, don’t procastinate on this…saving up, reservations, etc… do everything asap or you’ll get baited. even if i don’t go to this, i’ll be going to the sc3 thing in february or whenever, so we should at least get some 2D games in then. =D

I didn’t go to Albuquerque for the Pro Tour Qualifier like I wanted to, so I’m going to the SC3 thing with you guys for sure. Showdown 6 may have to be a sure thing this year unless I go to Evo so I might do either or both. I dunno yet. When’s the best time to find comp there? I just stopped by because I was in the area. I played a couple other people while there too. A tall guy with long hair and a ski hat and an asian dude with dyed blonde hair. Are they from srk?

Besides pi i dont think anyone you played was from the forums. Infact xero and I came in about 10 secs after you left. I’m there everyday to chill since i work really close. Best times are after 2pm on anyday besides tournament days.
