For Friday we’ll have two games at my place…Soul Calibur 5 and Street Fighter x Tekken 2v2 !
Casuals will start around **7 **PM for those that want fun games, and will continue the rest of the night.
SC5 will start around 8:00 PM, be $1, and played all on PS3. Will need an extra copy of the game, though.
SxT will start around 9:30 **PM **(or whenever SC5 finishes), will be $10 ($5 per team member), and played all on PS3. **No gems allowed. **Also, this is a 2v2 event. Solo entries will not be accepted. If you show up without a team, you will be partnered up with someone else who needs a partner.
I’ll only have one PS3 and a bunch of TVs, so if people want to bring consoles/setups that would be awesome.

I know this is late, but I figured this was relevant to the sexual harassment discussion as well as anything involving Pat.
Since I had to work wednesday, can someone tell me what went on in the meeting for ace?
Well we worked out what games we’ll be doing: Halo Reach 2v2, MW3 4v4, SF4, UMVC3, SC5, SXT and T6+MK (if they can get 16 entrants)…as well as a Cosplay Dance Contest using Dance Central, that we want to use some of the money ACE is giving us for pot prize and will be trying to get bigger names out here again, and who is doing certain jobs.
I’ll be doing the flyers and Slash/Zal/Garrett will be helping me with advertising. Pi will be managing the tourneys (with Mike, Garrett, Pat, and I think me running some brackets…probably more people too).
Rosen-b will be making a custom stick (most likely PS3) to give away on Saturday via raffle (every tourney entry gives a ticket). He will need help getting it wired up though…any volunteers?
Doesn’t seem we’ll be able to do a livestream unless we can get a discount on internet at the con (price currently sits at $450 per day). However recording and posting after should still be possible. Nick will have more info, though. I don’t think we came to any decisions on streaming equipment purchases.
That’s about all I can remember at the moment. Montoya took emails and such last night to send out more detailed notes. If you want to be on that email list, just let me know and I can get you Montoya’s email to get on the list. If you were on it last year, you still should be.
In other news, the DOA5 complete roster seems to be out there and it has THREE VF characters in it (Pai, Sarah, Akira). Just figured I’d toss that out there for Ian, the truest Virtual Fighter. I sorta want to scam Tecmo into giving me the demo so I can check it out…dem graphics :o
Well, Montoya asked if I could try and get Justin Wong out here again. What players does everyone want to try and get? The only problem is i think NEC is that weekend, or rather there is a major that same weekend as ACE.
