say markman how can I get my hands on one of these without going to comic con

You know guys… as long as someone rips the artwork, customizing a normal TE to look like this isnt -that- hard.

microsoft forbids this to be exact

the new stick looks great shame i live in the UK

I’m still waiting for the Asia TEs to pop back up on Playasia

the ones that putt on Play-Asia to be sold in Asia without the Street fighter Theme

I don’t believe it is a technological issue , Some time it is difficult to make a Multi system as Madcatz may have to pay License fees for the Console makers, so to whom it will pay .

You will Find Madcatz/Saitek PC/PS3/PS3 controllers but not PS3/Xb360

yeah, I think you’re right about that, it’s most likely licensing issues. Usually from what I hear it’s microsoft’s licensing, but who knows, maybe it’s both sides in this case, haha.

Can anyone tell me why Sanwa parts would be bad for MvC2?

so, it is going to be $30 dollars more expensive, for the change of another art and buttons of another color? there most be something else for the high price =/
At the official capcom site there is still TE in stock for 150, they are not that impossible to buy now, so if the reason of the extra 30 bucks is the rarety of the TE stick, i find it dumb >_<

Just a preference for a lot of players. As the stick returning to neutral quickly is needed for higher level play, and the buttons can take a beating.

The something else is the fact that only 500 will ever be made and you can only get them in one place for a short period of time. Worth it if you plan to keep the stick for play? Maybe not. But it actually surprised me that it was going for so cheap as far as what it will be worth to all the people willing to drop money on something rare/exclusive out there.

The fact that it is so exclusive is what makes it cool. You would never want to mod it. But I’m sure there will be a lot of knock offs because these guys here are crafty, I give it a week…

Oh alright, thanks for clearing that up.

On the topic, that stick is kind of a letdown. It looks nice and everything, but for 30 extra dollars, no thanks. Plus only being available at ComicCon is lame too. Oh well. I guess it’s back to my SE Fightstick.

Limited Edition Comic-Con Street Fighter IV Fight Pad for Xbox 360 & PS3 on Madcatz official Store Gameshark under “New Arrival”

And that’s total bull shit. I’m not good enough at this shit to dual mod my stick.

Clearly I need to find someone in Denver to do it for me if I buy components and shit, with some money in it for them of course

Has anyone scored one of these yet?

I just noticed the sticks are now listed on the MadCatz store. Does that mean they may actually be selling them online?

i was told by the capcom crew there would be some available online tonight.

dont know if its true or not

i asked markman but no reply

They are just putting word out.
