looks like the one he’s playing on is the exar stick, but at the bottom left of the screen you can clearly see the madcatz TvC stick. at around 0:07 you can see almost the whole thing.

Nope, the Arcade Stick the guy is using in video, it is definitely an Exar.
The only Mad Catz seen in the video, is the one not being used on left side.

well technically he didn’t ask if it was the one being used, haha. He just said “is this is the MAdcatz Wii Stick?”

Yes.
Laugh.

I’m afraid of ambiguity now.
But I still am correct about this.

Swisslakes pointed me to the Description on YouTube:

And did not oppose to the picture of Exar Stick that I posted.
So Swisslakes acknowledge that both him and I looking at same thing.
(It is easy to see the Blue Case and Dark Buttons.)

So comparing the image of Exar to description of YouTube and Blog of Grant008, it is clear.
Grant008 say that the Mad Catz TvC Mock-ups are non-playable.
But the guy in YouTube video is playing on something; got to be Exar (obvious too).

Although I should have posted the Blog of Grant008 earlier to make it clear.

I think the one playable in the Video is Not Madcatz, too small, also the Madcatz is sitting there in Video on the left top corner of the Table, see the video again, at the beginning

I know.
I’ve said that for my last three Posts.

I typed that it is the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Stick by Exar three times already.

He is correct.

one point, why he said Sticks and Not Stick? maybe there is another Stick not in the Video? as Madcatz got Two Sticks for both PS3 and XB360 , the SE and the TE

How much are these going for on eBay? Reasonable prices, not like the fool who listed one for $999 >_>

Sometimes people put one description for multiple vieos. It looks like the same guy that was using the comic-con stick as well, so maybe the tried that and some other sticks and just left the description for all his videos. or maybe he was mistaken and thought the exar stick was madcatz…who knows.

The best assumption to make is that the vid maker mistook the Exar stick to be MadCatz. I don’t think many people know, or have heard about Exar. Unlike the unlikely assumption is that there is a MvC2 stick out there that info about it has NEVER been leaked.

I hope Markman picking this because even in the link they mentioned him.

look at the post by d3v , the 2nd post at the bottom and remarks regarding a 2nd Stick.

For Wii i would like to see a Fighting Pad, a very good pad, better than the PS3 and XB360 version and also Wireless because people play Wii are more Casual.

I really wish they would just release that damn game on ps3/360. I have the wii version and it’s not bad or anything, but… I don’t know, playing non kiddy party games on the wii is just weird, haha. Graphics on the wii are not that great either, but I’ve never played the arcade version. Does anyone know how the arcade version’s graphics (or any other aspecs) compare to the wii version?

But you will Get Marvel VS Capcom within few days 29 July, for XB360 and 13 August for PS3

don’t tell anyone? lol

The price point is really interesting for the Pad 40,00, PS3 TE M VS C Stick 149,99 and the Wii Stick 59,99,

Didn’t find SE Stick for PS3 and XB360 on this site.

No worries on the home front for Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom…

The graphics should be the same since the arcade machine is running on Wii hardware.

This is parallel to the Dreamcast version of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. The reason why the home version of that game was better on the Dreamcast was because it was ported from arcade hardware (Naomi) based on the Dreamcast console.

The Wii Tatsunoko vs. Capcom won’t be any better than the arcade version since they’re essentially the same technology. The only differences would be more memory and silicon-based software (PCB-based) or faster drive access (because of the additional memory) in the Wii-based arcade system. The resolution should be the same since the Wii doesn’t run higher than 480p.

In the unlikely event that Capcom ports this game to the 360 and PS3, they would be foolish not to use filters to process the game graphics for higher resolutions. Capcom didn’t use filter-processing for some CPS-2 arcade ports to the Dreamcast (Vampire Chronicles being the the most infamous example) and the coloring on those games looked bleached out and the sprites were ultra-pixellated. The Dreamcast ran at native 640 X 480 resolution yet the CPS-2 ran at about 300 X 200. Even a relatively minor “blow-up” in graphics will make a previous-generation game look poor on a next-generation system if a good graphics filter isn’t used.

Capcom did some kind of re-processing/filtering of the graphics for the Dreamcast version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo and until the debut of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix it was the best home console port of SSF2 Turbo and arguably any Capcom fighting game, period. The one thing the Dreamcast SSF2 Turbo still has over HD Remix is the ability to toggle the arcade dip switches for different effects and changes in language between Japanese and English ==> unless Capcom put that into HD Remix (which I don’t own at the moment).
