Oh yea, today I checked out Alex’s restaurant finally, if you haven’t been there yet you should check it out. First off, the place looks really nice on the inside, everything’s so clean too. I got a salad and the two hot dogs and fries and like everything was cooked so well, the buns were perfectly toasted none of that burny things on it, fries were crisp not soggy.
Only a couple downsides; not much selection for food, just the basic stuff, I thought i was suppose to get a pickle and cole slaw with my meal but i didn’t the menu lied!!, and Pepsi sucks

Dude, you rock. Thanks for the good words. Too bad you came in on my day off. Funny thing is that I’m usually off Tuesdays instead of today so you lucked out. haha sounds like you had Giovanni as your server. He calls everyone buddy and because of him, I do that sometimes, too. Sorry about no cole slaw and such; Gio was probably busy and fucked up. I glad you liked everything and all but if you think that was a lot of food, you need to try something from “Hot Pot Creations”; those are some serious meals. And try a soup next time, too. Each one is really good, depending on what you like (chicken, mushrooms, beef, or lamb). Tim eats here all the time now and Phi’s stopped in a couple times, too. That leaves the rest of you broke gamers that owe me a visit! Just so you guys know, you all get discounts from me if you come in when I’m there. If I knew you were there, I’d make sure you got one, too. I’ll probably see you next time if you come back.

anyone know any SAFE neighbor hoods around New Brunswick with semi cheap rent (like 600-700 a month)?? My mom wasn’t joking and now our house is for sale (she bought some expensive ass house with her husband down in South Jersey) and she said she’ll pay rent for me to live in New Brunswick so I can continue going to school but like that’s the ghetto, so was wondering if anyone knows anything about the surrounding area like Piscataway or any other towns next to it where I won’t get robbed daily or be scared to go outside??

Re: Philly, I hope that everyone has got their ride plans squared away. My car is already full, and Phi is going, but not coming back. I’d recommend that everyone else figure out a way to pool everyone else. Our people had best sweep the competitions there.

If you want comp for MVC2 on week day you should come down to the break for the weekly tournaments. It’s every Thursday night at 8 on the Break.

Yeah, come for 3S, though a few of us can’t make it, maybe local 3S folks will come down…and possibly badger Rob

Anyone got any tips for getting the 50 coins in Nintendo Tri cart? I usually just skip a bunch of the ? blocks and run to the areas where you can just pick up loose coins, think this is the best way to go about it
I think the average time for 50 coins is 1:06.
The way I go about it is this: Run through 1-1 and go down the first pipe you can (before the 1-up mushroom and gap) There’s (I believe) 14 coins there. Exit the pipe and jump for the flag. Try not to have the last digit of your time be 1, 3, or 6 when you grab the pole. Yay for 3000 points, boo for not having the extra time those fireworks took for Tetris.
1-2: Book as quickly as you can to the first pipe you can enter, grabbing whatever coins are in your immediate path. The pipe that you will enter is the one after the1-up mushroom on the ceiling and the three goombas walking in a row. Grab all the coins and whack the 10-coin block over and over. If you haven’t hit 50 by now, you have ish…

Exactly, the triath is more of a race to Tetris then anything, and in Tetris you just gotta go go go. You are gunning for a score of at least 40,000 points so that you’re guaranteed a million. I have a screenshot on my home PC of a 2.8 million score I have and I did do 1.9 million at last year’s event.
Anyone have any idea what’s a good way to launch someone on the ground into the air when you activate Genei-Jin away from the opponent in 3S? How about when you cancel Genei-Jin from a Jab Shoulder Thrust? I can cancel after I hit someone with a Strong Shoulder Thrust, but the odds of me landing that on a person in actual combat seems a little unlikely.
Oh, I’m talking about Yun btw. lol…
