btw Ninja gaiden takes up a whole 6 gigs on my HD but i figured out why, half of the movies are in japanese half in english damn they went overboard with this thing. i seem to be stuck on level 7 with the rest of the world, tho i read after 7 itās clear sailing to 11 then problems start up again

Less than two weeks away! Iām getting pretty pumped up about this one. There are most likely going to be tons of tournaments. I donāt care if youāve never played the game before either. Most of the people who play at these kind of things are scrubby anyway. Itāll be like shooting fish in a barrel. Well, except for Alex, who lost in a Bust-A-Move tournament at last years.
If anyone is interested in getting some retrogame practice in next weekend, let me know. Iāll spec up my setup so you can get your game up and ready.

couple questions for people who went last year:
a) whatās the attendence like?? from the pictures from pc4 it looks pretty empty
b) these tournaments do they have prizes like copy of Nintendo Power or anything or just for fun
c) is it worth it going both days, or will you get bored with it by the end of one
iām going regardless just good to know what to expect.
i can bring the xbox too so we can have 2 old school setups, phiās got one too so i guess thatās 3 setups

What the fuck? Doesnāt anyone else have a car? Youāre all basically just pushing this on me. Well, just to let you know, Iām not exactly a definite to go either. Iād still love to go and last week it was much more certain that I was going. But now Iām shorthanded at work because one of my servers is in the hospital and I donāt even know when/if heās coming back to work. And on top of that, Saturday is the busiest day in terms of business, so itās not exactly looking good on this end. I suggest you all to find a backup ride or something because if you appriciate games in any way, you want to go to this. Maybe some of you should, yāknow, drive your own cars? It was kinda empty last year, but everything was still great. Emptiness = less wait time for demos anyway. Should be much better and crowded this time, tho.
They have games and such as prizes. Last year Bust A Move had a PS2 game as a prize.
I only went Saturday. Doyle was gonna come back Sunday to win the NES world championship contest but he didnāt go.
If you count 40-something movie āstarsā, then yes, you should be a happy man.

I feel you about the work thing, I donāt like to make plans anymore cause like stuffās always popping up now and itās like I feel bad saying I canāt go when I already said I would, but you gotta do you first you know if you gotta work then that should come first cause itās more important.
