Mario Party is a terrible terrible game. Do not play this game if you wish to ever win as this game makes no sense. You do not have to do anything in this game to win. You could lose at everything in this game and still end up with the most stars due to random dice rolls.

Not if you’re dumb like me and end up puking after taking 11 shots of vodka within something like 5 minutes. That’s what happens with “random dice rolls”. Other than that, it’s all good. Sorry Phi, I think this drinking game is too hardcore for you, Mr. Lightweight. 
At least not the way I play it. Now if we’re talking drinking rules Vs. Pac Man, then I agree, everyone does indeed win, if not for comedic value alone.
So when’s the next gathering, sucka? Gimme a call or something. You need to stop going to all these random places and just stay in Jersey, fool. I need an excuse to take a night off.
Agreed Mr. Alex. Phi needs to stay in Jersey since he’s the only one with a decent setup for a gathering…
I don’t necessarily play Mario Party to win the game, it’s more to kick back and play a fun game against friends. People need to loosen up a little and note that games are meant to be fun, not competitive 110% of the time.
Come to think of it, there is some skill involved with Mario Party games, but I think that’s another article for another time. (More likely another ten minute tirade by yours truly whilst sipping away at my fifth or sixth Schmirnoff.)
Besides, if we’re talking skillage, it’s F-Zero GX all the way ^_^.
I’d also like to know who’s planning on going to that Philly classic gaming thing in March. Alex, Kei, and I went last year and had an okay time. This year is looking to be better with more exhibits and whatnot. Not to mention I need to redeem myself after losing to mangirl in that Pokemon Puzzle League (AKA Scrubby ass Tetris Attack-esque) tournament and after losing to nine year olds at that recent Mario Kart competition I attended.
I have made myself available for play on Friday the 19th. Let’s try to get all the heads in for some LAN mode Mario Kart.

Yeah, actually Mario Party is fun, I just felt like bumping the thread. Still, it’s funny that the game is so random. You can maximize your odds of winning, but still get that random “Ha Ha! you lose!” at the end.
Still, we guessed like 8 or 9 of bowser’s fruits somehow…no idea how.
Hell yes I want to go again. This time I need to actually win Bust A Move instead of second. I lost to random 3rd party Gamecube controller that won’t go left. That, and I want to get a fully functioning Nomad since the one I have barely works. That thing is still so damn sweet, tho.
By the way, I just got a Cube and will be getting F-Zero soon. It’s over for you, old man.

well, i’ll probably have a few people over either friday or saturday. that cawkmaster, aka pr0n-king, aka fatglasses, aka “that’s terrible”, etc etc is working on fri, but off on sat. you guys decide. but i think there might be some auction thing i might be going to on sat, or was (loosely) planning on going to fobtown, but have to follow up with sigli-ilgi-ary (analyze this)… yes, i am complicated… bleh but you guys figure what day to get together so i can blow off whoever =p

Seriously tho I’ve lived next door literally to a church for 12 years and I haven’t been inside of it once (Tho once I was drunk in high school and thought it would be funny to take a piss on it see you jewish people in hell since you killed God and all). Christmas for me basically is the same as every other day cept I eat in the kitchen and get presents, the eating in the kitchen is crazy tho cause like I don’t eat much so I try to bounce after 2 minutes but it’s not the right thing to do so i have to wait for like 5 before I bounce
Hey let’s do a drinking game or something on Fri I wanna get really drunk, then goto this Christmas party at work on Sat get really drunk then do some video editing on the plane (AKA ECC Trailer so give me ideas!) all day Sunday since it’s like a friggin 8 hour flight.
