Last time we went together was what I meant (all 3 of us). Best you ever did was 5th place in CVS2 I never got worse than 4th. Maybe you should come to The Break and get some practice before you go out to UP and get beat again. First time I got 4th was because I lost to someone from NJ that I play all the time. Second time I got 4th I lost to NY and Kalick (who i beat earlier). Besides Kalick, only people I loose to from PA are Julian, so I don’t see how you can say we’re not up to Philly’s players.
Jerry only lost to Julian, Alex A, and Eric Stewart once from what I can remember. Tho everyone gives me a good challenge everytime we go (Som, Alex, Eric ST), most of the matches could go either way.
I only entered 2 tournaments, you went to a lot, also i never said i was good at anything. Just be there on Monday to prove yourself.

I love how everyone is talking about the “break players” like we meet there all the time and play. That fucking place is dead. There is no such thing as “break players”. The only thing close to it are the people that come regularly to lose to whatever outside comp that decides to show up that week and make some easy money, whether it’s NYC, Philly, whoever. No one in central jersey gives a shit about games if you really think about it. It’s amazing that guys like Rob and Jerry are even decent given the totally non-existant comp we have here. You know I’m cool with you guys and I know you’re good and all, but please, stop talking like Jersey is some sort of great SF power. We suck, plain and simple. That’s what happens when we have no arcades and no one gives a shit anymore. We can have our handful of decent marvel players (sure as hell not in central nj, tho) and you guys are good at cvs2, but get real. We’re not better than Philly. The only reason Break tournaments still exist is because the owner wants cash flow on slow days (thursdays). I guess that won’t last for much longer, eh? There’s a for sale sign in the front if anyone didn’t know yet. There is no community here, hence no “break players”. That place isn’t even a SF arcade anymore. It’s turned into fucking Konami town with random SF tournaments on the side and broken controls everywhere. How could anyone take the Break seriously anymore? I know I don’t.

WTF! HOWTF did Nightmare James get in there? He is terrible at MvC2. He is not in the same calibur as me or Ken. Also I have nothing to do with this discussion. I am NOT, I repeat, NOT a Break player. If anything I am FnG player but not even that sometimes since there’s hardly anyone there or good enough. The Break in general sucks cock for comp except maybe on Thurs, but even then the controls fucking suck even worse. And there’s nothing that can be done about fixing them. FnG is at least maintained. So in conclusion, I have nothing to do with this so don’t bring me up, all Jersey arcades suck big cock, and lastly, the best comp is at home with people who are at your level with working joysticks. I had to read this thread, and some of you have a lot of audacity (especially you, Elu). Bernie and Lazy J are right, we are lagging behind University Pinball in a lot of games. Elu, you might be able to beat me because you know how to play me, but let’s see you show up in Philly one day. I bet my friend killerviet could beat you 4-0. Same with anyone else. I saw you play at ECC, you don’t have a good advantage when you don’t know how the other person plays!
