As per Mr. uNF: This is for everyone thinking FnG will close January 1st. The security is changing over on January 1st. The “new” mall going to sub-contract the security. The mall was bought by a new company so it’s all new management. Fun and Games lease does not expire until January 1st…2006. By that time I’m sure the new mall management will grow to hate the arcade as much as the current mall management does so yes, by 2006 they will probably close. One of 2 things will probably happen, they will either raise the lease in 2006 to cover the new security or they will just say fuck them all together. Either way, Mega Man still sucks!!!

Just want to give a shout out to mr fantastic, who I happened to bump into at NEC. The guy actually remembered my team. Haha. We got some great matches in, even if it was like 3 in the morning. Lots of fun, hope to do it again soon.

I’m flying up to NJ tonight and staying in Flemington until the 23rd. Where abouts would be some of the closer places for games?
there are only a few good arcades to go at all. the break in dunellen or fun n games in wayne. okay, so just two. fng is all right friday and saturday nights and the break has tournaments thursday nights usually. dunno about plain casuals though.
will you or someone be able to drive you around? the break is roughly 30-45 minutes from flemington. (mainly take major roads to get there)
also what games are you looking for play in? the ec legend jerry hong lives around that area; rob (game-ecletic) and i (st/sfac) might visit, since i have to jack my game, his bike and/or new car.
there’s a cvs2 tourney tonight at the break and a few conneticut heads are coming by.

I’ll be able to drive. The only place I know of to go atm are The Break (never been), some big fun park warehouse type place (no idea where it is, been there once), and Lehigh Valley Mall (in PA).
I’ll play anything :). I’d prefer to get some T5 in, but I like to play 3S, MvC2, and XX (I don’t have #R, but I’ll play it!). I’ll play ST and CvS2, and whatever else is put on the table though. I’m not picky. As long as it’s not Rise of the Robots.
I won’t be getting into… Newark I believe is where we’re landing (most likely) until late tonight. Probably between 10-11pm. I’ve got an hour layover in DC. What time do the tourneys usually last to?
