Right now I don’t see myself getting these. Just slapping “Street Fighter” on something doesn’t make me buy it. They’re just too ugly.

yeah, I don’t care for these either. there is news that Sota may still be in commission with sf too, but that is uncertain. and there is always Jerry’s line as well that will be great but not articulated.
Neca will probably only make two lines anyways of street fighter.
Jerry’s line will just be in scale statues based off the SOTA style. Hopefully Dee Jay is one of them…

These are gross lookin. Ryu is the best one so far and that’s not sayin much. Viper has PECS. She looks like a meng, meng.

They got Blanka’s hair wrong. I’ve given up hope of there ever being any decent Street Fighter figures. And no, Sota’s don’t cut it.
Strange then that despite this ‘fact’ many people still prefer action figures eh? Hmm I wonder if different people could prefer different things…
I missed the part where I said everyone should like them. I simply said GKs are better. GKs in general tend to be better artistic representations of whatever they’re based on. GKs are expensive and take a lot of time, effort and skill to get right, so it’s pretty obvious most people will never get into building one and simply purchase action figures. PVC figures are probably the only alternative to GKs and are great overall, and almost all of them are based on GKs. Of course if you’re a collector like me then you’ll buy both action figures and GKs.
Back on topic: I still don’t like how they’re trying to base these on the original CG art, they need to go back to the workbench and try something else.
That PVC Guile looks OK. But the camo design paint work on his pants seems pretty sloppy.
