Sounds good. Yea it was good time, but again it looks like it may happen once every two weeks on thursday, so hopefully you can make it out to the next one. I just ordered some parts for my stick so after that (or before) if you got some free time we can get some rounds in. I am starting a new job in about 3 weeks so I got nothing to do but study in the meantime leaving plenty of holes in the schedule during the afternoons. I’ll hit you up during the week to see what’s up.

I will not be in attendance. I would have checked out the Pat’s Pizza tourney in maine but the whole power situation changed my plans for that weekend. Sadly, I can’t even make the next 5 Dragons get-together on March 11th as I have a concert to attend. Oh well, guess that’s more time for me to improve my Abel in training mode and platinum tekken6.

Man didn’t realize how elitists punks there are playing SF4 on XBL; not fun. I am batting a thousand tonight in attracting players who enjoy humiliating their opponents via taunts and racial hate mail (given the skill gap). Damn what happened to welcoming and expanding the community for old AND new players lol?!
peeps playing on the tubes are not friendly in the sf4 world. when it came out people were crazy mean for no reason (and a lot of srk members are wary toward the people who joined in 09 because of this). It was really apparent to me when I started playing BB and everybody just wanted to learn and teach and play instead of spam you with hatemail if they won OR lost. I do think it’s better now though, but I’m preparing myself for when my makoto gets romped by sagat (or probably dudley cause he is looking like a BEAST) and I get a message written by a 12 year old telling me to just quit the game and go die in a hole.
And as far as I know, the 5 Dragons is still on for this Thursday night in Nashua.
LOL, nice I will be bringing my smash playing friend along since that seemed to be the hot game of the night two weeks ago. TvC for me and lots o SF4 rounds! Met some real cool peeps at the Souper Bowl tournament tonight (very welcoming) so i’m excited to get some rounds in with some of those guys as well. Comp is pretty fierce and there was a very good variety of characters being used which is always music to my ears. No Gouken though…sigh. You comin this week Kom?
There will continue to be a healthy Brawl contingent there as phil (his parents own the place) knows a lot of them. I wish I could say I’ll be there but I’ll be leaving work in manchester on thursday to head out to the seacoast for a concert and i’ll be spending the weekend out there with the gf at her house. Romes says he’ll show if he can find some time to play FF13 before then, which is lame, so this is me calling him out on that.
As I won’t be there, we will definitely be down one complete setup (ps3+TV) and I was also bringing my stick and a pad for peeps to use. In light of that, it would be nice if a couple people brought their equipment.
We’ll have to figure out a way to play again, newblood, between now and the next one.

just an update for you guys: 5 dragons is on for tonight. starts at 6 but there will be a few of us missing, namely the peeps who bring the ps3s and sticks. So if you don’t want to spend your evening getting tossed off platforms or being chain-thrown by falco in Brawl you’ll want to bring a friend and a setup. My thinking is that some more peeps will show since a couple of you hit up the recent souper bowl tourney (who knew asian restaurants were the place to go for this stuff?) so feel free to invite the people you met who were cool and didn’t smell.

You and me both (about Hakan) lol. Holding out for Ibuki, Adon, T.Hawk, and an improved Rose. Early rumblings are saying that Dudley is the early favorite for dominance in SSF4…kinda scary. I have sticks for my xbox so ill bring that and a tv with SF4. I definitely hope they break for some tvc otherwise I may be forced to enter the brawl arena =(.

FFXIII is a wonderful reason to stay home, since I have been playing it non stop since I got it this past week. We even broke off into focus groups thursday night to discuss some of its finer points lol. In all seriousness GG to all who came thursday night and I hope more SF4, TvC players can make it out in two weeks on the 25th to 5 dragons. It seems like its really starting to take off so don’t be shy lol. The more people the more competitive it will be and I think that will only greatly contribute to even better players (new and old) making that trip up to Nashua every two weeks.:tup:
This past saturday night i had 10 friends on the psn and ALL TEN were playing FF13. I’m a big FF fan myself (though of games gone by) so i’m understanding. I did hear that there were like 17 peeps in the 5 dragons. craziness. I will definitely be at the next one.

I always go with the flow Romes so its wasn’t a big deal at all. Since my plans got canceled tomorrow I am around if anyone wants to get a few rounds in for anything. Will gladly host (short notice I know). Alright, time to enjoy more sun!
