Figured i’d come here and ask if anybody knows about this. My friend just told me about a microsoft store or something that opened up in the rockingham mall in Salem? I guess it has all kinds of tv’s setup along a wall and they’re planning to host bi-weekly ssf4 tournaments or something. Anyone from around that area can confirm?
On vaca in Disney World with my lady. Just went to disney quest (arcade) only to see a fully working mvc2 cab. Fought and bodied an 8 yr old; night/year is complete. Nh rep up

Doesn’t seem like it man. I am finally convinced nothing sparks the fires around here with any real long term success. While my schedule has always been up in the air its finally set in stone, so been playing and learning tag 2 with some old friends in Boston and will be at UGS (tekken central lol) from now on Saturdays and likely GU, but on Tuesdays. Seems a good amount of people are showing up then according to Pumperjam. Fridays are too hit or miss for me to say with certain I would be able to go all the way there, but will let interested parties know as free time arises on those days so we can work out a carpool situation.
Oh and Resident Evil 6 is ass. Anyone remember the pinnacle of the series Code Veronica?
Cant wait to see xfactor, pandora and simple mode in the new Darkstalkers…Capcom on a role…
Im still alive, just been on a stupid crazy schedule. All should be well and settle by the end of the month. New apartment and finally got into a new career.
On another note, i still play AE (still usin Rose and Deejay) but i doubt i can get into the lobbies as NB’s connection hates my DMZ.

Think it’s down to just us core guys again because the new dudes just kinda disappeared after the last fighter’s den.
I know it is a joke man and I wont make any excuses for the constant bouncing from game to game. The only thing I enjoy playing consistently is Marvel. Not a great game as anyone can attest, but the shit is fun to play lol. Tekkens cool, but like anything else with me if no one is showing interest I wont be playing it for long. I am driving to other communities to play it currently so thats more commitment than I have shown to a game in a while. Most places play Marvel so that isnt hard to find.
I’m definitely down to stream for Canada Cup since AE is awesome when there is so many high level players involved. If it is anything like last year then it will be a gauranteed great tournament. East Coast Curleh will be even better too since a lot of players have gotten so much better since the last time it was here.
As for Darkstalkers, I have as much faith in Capcom to produce a decent game nowadays as I do an angry pimp to NOT slap a ho for running with his money. Those games had awesome music which capcom is incapable of producing anymore (sfxt sound and music was a joke. AE meh.), chain combos (doesnt get easier than this system but they will find a way to make it even dumber for newer players im sure), and they will have to fight the urge to put anything reminiscent of a game breaking mechanic that will be a play off of pandora, xfactor, instant kills, simple mode and other shit that will make someone more skilled at one point say “why the fuck am I wasting time getting better, when any scrub can faceroll and kill me.”
I definitely cant make the 20th unfortunately, but it definitely would be nice if we could roll at least 4 deep to any tournament that fits everyone’s time. It’ll happen just a matter of when imo.

yeah I’m still around. was playing a lot of diablo 3 and working as much overtime as I could before the fiscal year ended. finished remodeling the upstairs now as well so that’s done. now I’m just back to reviewing CDs every other month and taking a graduate class. However, I have been diving back into marvel trying to get some new characters and playstyles going. went into the danger room with strange, magneto, and vergil and just started trying to figure stuff out. I like marvel a lot. it’s just so fun and really does offer a huge range of potential accomplishments. ultimate really did widen potential playstyles and it’s still interesting to see teams evolve. Totally saw an iron man repulsor blast the shiiiiit out of everybody on some UK vid the other day. crazy.
I don’t really play ae. sfxt with the “version 2013” and all the new characters could be interesting but then it’ll get boring again real fast. KoF13 still makes me wet though I’m terrible at it (right, nick? lol) cause i never put time in it and I did see the return of Tekken Ball mode(!) which got me kinda hype–not gonna lie. I think persona 4 is a great game that really gets a lot of things right as well.
It brought a tear to my eye seeing you in training mode…period. We’ve already discussed offline so it bears no further mention on the interwebs. Nova, Vergil, Strange, play dat shit. Rog seems to be testing out a few different characters to bridge the gap in the awful matchups he sees in the tournament. Team AGE especially has been blowing him up in locals and majors as of late hence the Cammy and now THawk stuff. Ironmans tricks work once then you die…they killed him and put his corpse in the same bag as hsien-ko=(. If hsien ko had a speed boost and could Sen Bu cancel like she can in Darkstalkers…to dream ::drool::
Speaking of which, kinda disappointed to hear we are getting Super Darkstalkers 4: AE 2013. So much for lush hand drawn sprites a la 3rd strike and Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge (for Saturn, fuck the PS2 editions). Oh well ill play it for hsien ko.
SFxT could have been fun but its really too late. Too many options and the negative stigma the game has right now is awful. Admit the abject failure and missed opportunity for a fantastic crossover and let Namco do it right.
