inertia cancel… that sounds like an INITIAL D maneuver !! LOL… sounds cool… you should try CHIPP’s INERTIA CANCEL as well 
I’ve been trying to take up Testament. My thoughts…I love his new powered up Web move. Near the end of a match, throw xx Master of Puppets super usually turns things around for me. Once you have those voodoo marks, either poison tree or skeleton web pretty much wins it. Also his overheads have to be some of the best in the game. 6P is fast and leads to huge damage combos. His D is hard to see coming, leads to big damage, and it links from 2H on counter.
Things I have trouble with…his wakeup game sucks. He is pretty weak at mid distance unless you get the FRC EXE Beast going. I can’t use his trees very well.
All in all, a surprisingly fun and easy to learn character.
On that topic, how do you do Chipp’s inertia cancel? It’s something like you jump and FD over the opp. Then it’s 50/50 if you do a crossover or not.
