Theirs always a good bit of strategy needed in SRW once you get past the first half, first half is always pretty easy then it kicks into high gear later on. And I’m pretty sure you can turn off/on attack animations each time you attack, maybe not in some of the earliest ones but I know from OG and J on you can for a fact.
The website’s been updated. You can click on “Entry Title” to go to the character page, see some screenshots, and get some voice samples. Game is 2D and looks a lot like Namco X Capcom. Some screens even show 3 characters at the same time, and what look like assists (the guy from Space Harrier is helping Ulala and Team Shining Force). It also confirms Cyrille from Shining Force EXA.
Team Mega Man X looks like it’s got a big X4 theme going - they’re fighting in Cyber Peacock’s stage, X has Frost Walrus’ and Slash Beast’s weapons, and Zero has Web Spider’s Raijingeki and Split Mushroom’s Kuuenzan.
