Point of the article isn’t how I placed, it’s for sticking with DMG since the day it was created. Putting in time and effort for a team I believed in and now look at them. We have a roster of sick players with PR Rog, Inthul, Rico and others. But I guess i’ve done really nothing. I may be behind the scenes in DMG but I’ve been with these guys since Day 1 and being sponsered by everyone from Mad Catz to TTC is an honor. Feels good when you know people have your back for something you believe in.
Jason asked me to do the interview because he wanted everyone in DMG to do one. He wanted everyone to see every member of DMG. So I respect your opinion of it being “pointless” to you. But it was a great pleasure having done that interview and I’m glad people in the scene who actually mattered enjoyed the read.

but I must admit… and It pains me to say it… but I can think of about 2,034 players a little more interesting than you for an interview when it comes to Street Fighter,

Inthul placed second at WB this year, has won his own tourneys and only started at that tourney you mentioned.
Rico finally came back around and placed top 16 at CEO, ust to win alot in vanilla so its good to see him back.
Insayne? 17 year old kid has won tourneys in New York as well and is known over there in that scene. Top 16 at WB as well.
Rob and Craig stevens have had several top 16 placings at majors including both of them making top 8 at NEC.
But yea, Rog is our only player I guess

Also, I find it odd that ppl say that a community isn’t serious enough about getting better at a fighting game, yet won’t drive an hour out of their way 1-2 times per week to meet up at a place where the majority(?) of players in the community practice. =/
if placing top 16 is your Idea of achievement, then about 90% of the united states must be sick players, cause everyone has placed, top 16 at least once… hell you placed top 8 on AE a few months ago to prove your point

@manny. Top 16 at majors… You usually see the same people top 16 because they are consistently good. There’s a reason you don’t see random people every top 16. But your opinion of what is good isn’t very well based upon how you act towards new players at the arcade. They are customers trying to lean the game. And you down talk them wanting to play on stream cause they suck? Makes you sound amazing broski.
