There’re three types of recognition you can get from the FGC. 1.) If you win tournaments (Rarely Lose). 2.) If you’re entertaining (Rarely Win). 3.) If you win tournaments, while being entertaining (GDLK - Status).
Those matches were entertaining to say the least, whereas you winning with Wesker/Phoenix does not belong in the entertainment genre. Not to say you winning with Wesker/Phoenix is completely void of entertaining value, it is in the same way that I might watch an incoming pwnage video (Dark Phoenix X-Factor LVL 3) against people who are wearing a “This game is retarded” expression on their face. There’s comedic value in their misfortune as I share their sentiments while chuckling, “This game is stupid!~”
What I’m trying to say is if a video is directed towards group 2, then group-1-play has no reason to be in it.

I can’t believe that 1) Someone submitted a tip to eventhubs about Tim, 2) They actually ran the story, 3) They actually went through the youtube to find other, older matches.
But, Tim’s Spencer didn’t get any recognition. This needs to be remedied asap.
What he’s trying to say is don’t be a tier whore and you’ll get recognition for being a good player.

People hate Phoenix/Wesker/Lvl 3 xfc so nobody wants to run a story on it. I don’t think it’s even about winning (casual matches). So, don’t worry about it.
It’s not about hate at all. It’s the fact that seeing Wesker and Phoenix is nothing special. People see that every day already. If Haggar was top tier and you were seeing this jump loop combo on every stream and video already, people wouldn’t have thought twice about it.
If Ben takes out the heads and speech bubble, I’ll use it.
