in other news…my boss finally had the new registers delivered to the store this week and my store project is getting ALL of the liquor inventory put into the system. so i’m busy with that for the next few weeks.
on a much more somber note, my grandma’s breast cancer came back this month. mom left this morning to stay with her until sunday. the surgery isn’t until april 15th, @ Tulsa Regional Hospital. hopefully they’ll remove all of the cancer to where she won’t need any radiation/chemo afterwards. Mom wants to make sure she has all of her “affairs” in order before the surgery too, which is why she wanted to go to Oklahoma alone. sighs
I’m trying not to stress over this too much.

anyway, i’ve got my own shit to deal with this week and next in Talihina & Tulsa. I’m going with my mom this thursday to be with grandma as she prepares for her surgery next tuesday. I’ll keep Misha & Jen posted via email (my cousin only has dial-up).
misha: how was the turn-out at the dance saturday @ KU? I spent the day movie hopping. (The Hunted, and The Core…great flicks) did you take any pics of the Grand Entry dance? if so, email them to me please. btw, I do know what Tussy is :lol: I’ll bet you anything I can still find it somewhere in Oklahoma this week too.

i was at OK just Monday and stayed there for 2 weeks, didnt find much there, Ok city is cool!! Angelica you could of found me!! in Ok but there dont seem to be if any at all mvc2 players there. I didnt get to visit tulsa, just cherokee, Ok city, Watonga, OKeay i thinks it s called.
Ok is differ from cali, i recommend while there try Braum’s , you could pretty much only find um in ok, because thats were there located at. in OK and maybe a little bit in Texas.
i saw the core, it was decent. i recommend PHONE BOOTH even though i havent seen it yet…
and BOAT TRIP, and possibly later to come, Hulk , x2 , m2 , t3 , and Conan the Barbian was CRAZY MOVIE , EXCELLENT SOUND TRACK.
i grew up in both Tulsa ('74-'86) and SoCal (anaheim & brawley; '86-'92), so I’m pretty familiar with Oklahoma as a whole; I went to college in Muskogee ('93-'95) and most of my mom’s family still resides in Oklahoma. Braum’s has been and always will be the best ice-cream and burger joint of ALL time; burgers the size of your head, the best damn cookies in the world (for a corporate food chain). There is ONE in Missouri too, but it’s only in Joplin pouts we always stop there at some point while on a trip to OK though. so yeah, you’re basically preachin to the choir here about Oklahoma 
I haven’t gone to Oklahoma YET; we leave tomorrow. and like I said this is not a social visit for us, unfortunately

I was just saying Braum’s is good. I had before i left, the pound burger, and with a half rocky road, choclete almond milk shake, followed by a AWSOME Hot fudge peanut butter sunday UM GOOD. i think there ice cream is better than baskin robbins. there was a another ice cream type that you could by in store s over there, the ice cream was more tastey to me than COLD STONE, i just forgot the name though?

i’ve never lived in texas. Oklahoma city is bigger than Tulsa, besides geography (ok city is in the middle of OK) and being the state capital that’s the difference between the two.

O I think theres also an ANaheim, in texas. or its spelled differ? and i think i heard differ about tulsa, that TULSA is bigger than OK city. Tulsa is where the night clubs and such things. Well thats what i heard. And yes i have been to disneyland. Do you play mvc2? and have you heard of the Smiths and the Cure, maybe depecishe mode? not sure how its spelled? tHERE S some really nice music to listen to out there. Even that movie the MANQUien the old movie had a decent song.
I also think that there’s good music in New York and at my one friend’s house. I also hear that there’s even good music in parts of Seattle and Phoenix. I think German people listen to Depche Mode as well. It’s against the law to wear suspenders in Arizone too.
shakes head we obviously view the term “big city” and “bigger city” in two completely different ways. if you believe the number of clubs and arcades signifies growth then perhaps Tulsa is bigger. but if you’re talking about land mass and city limits, then Oklahoma City is bigger. this does not count for the number of suburbs that surround each city either. if you’ve only been to one of these cities, then you can’t make a fair assessment of the other in comparison.
now, back to your music question. YES I do remember the Smiths and the Cure and Depeche Mode. I grew up with these bands in the 80s (to present day) Kansas City has some decent music as well; esp. if you live in Westport(k.c., mo) or Lawrence (KS)

Hey kids, long time, no post.
Ang made it to OK alright and is helping to take care of her sick grandmother right now. Her grandma isnt doing too well and has yet to have the explorative surgery yet, so they’re still not sure what completly wrong and she’s pretty weak. Please keep Ang and her family in your thoughts and prayers. This is a pretty rough time for them. Even if you dont believe in God or prayer, keep a good thought about them. Ang needs as much positive support as she can get.
My kitty had to be put to sleep Wed, so Im pretty depressed. Id had her since I was six years old, and its so hard right now seeing her white strands of fur about the house or some still on my clothes (she loved sneaking in my closet). She was pretty much my best friend ever. Human friends, they’ll accidently hurt you or even intentionally betray you, but animal people - they’re just too good. When they love, they give it their all, with no reserves.
Its going to take a long time for me to get over this. I feel like a piece of me’s been crushed.
There’s a Braum’s in Wellington, KS where my grandmother and cousins live. My grandfather used to take me there occasionally for ice cream, tho I probably didnt deserve it. I was a brat. They still have an A&W stand there too, I thought. Dad showed me his “baby” A&W mug. It literally is a glass mug they’d fill with root beer and give to toddlers. Solid as steel. He’s still got some of the big ones too. Theres a cool Root Beer and Sasprillia seller that used to come to the Shawnee County Allied Tribe pow-wows that sold the best damn root beer products on the planet from an original receipe from the 1800’s that he modified. He was dope and would give ya cheap refills and cool blue containers to carry the stuff in.
I hope some good stuff happens soon. Im tired of being sad and Im sure Ang is too.
My cat was also put to sleep last year. I had him since 6th grade, 11 yrs old, to 18 yrs. seeing my cats picture on my sist’s wall is just…my cat also liked sneaking into the bedroom closet, my cat like to sleep a lot, he was very lazy.His name was blue, and he was my best ,BEST friend on this earth. I mean Jehovah God is my VERY Best friend there is no other, but underneath God was Blue. My cat was about 9 yrs old when he was put to sleep.
THe really hard thing about it was, when i went to the vet. open the box my cat was in, his eyes lit up literally when looking at me, then i petted his head and his eyes went back to like nothing gonna happen. Then i wispered my last good bye. That was the day OF extreme depression, like i felt like i could of died right there with him.
It’s just that look of that last moment i saw him, i felt sooo bad. i cant talk about this no more exuse me.

For once Rage, I know how you feel. Snoopy got all happy and lit up when our family came in to say good-bye to her, she even had the gall to “flirt” with the male vet who came in to speak with us. Snoop always had a thing for males, there were very few females she would give the time of day besides me and my sister.
ProxCen- that mug IS pretty dope. Im so jealous. :o Im still looking for a girl half/boy half Ranma shirt. They’re kinda hard to find these days tho unless you run across a few at a con.
