MvC2 will run fine and everything, expect now it is wont read the memory card. However that works.
Normally runs just fine, but at a crazy hyper fast speed. Like turbo squared. Any help on the memory card issue?
do you need xpadder or joy2key to use an arcade stick with NullDC? I keep reading about using the ‘joystick’ plug-in but I don’t see anything for that in the plug-ins menu.

MvC2 runs fine in the beginning. Then after about 1 match, it drops to 50% 
Anyway to increase speed? I already changed the sound plugin.

I’ve been wondering about this as well. I can get mvc2 to run at full speed, but it seems to keep dropping frames or skipping frames for some reason. I know the original mvc2 drops frames as well, yet it still looks smooth on the screen. NullDC’s frame drops are actually very apparent and the movement feels jerky and unnatural compared to the arcade or DC version. I wonder if its the emulator’s problem though.
what are the best plug ins for video and sound to date?
I tried CVS2 today and it has TONS of sprite issues but perfect graphics and framerate otherwise
MVC2 has sound problems and the background has tiles/pieces that disappear and some slow down
I might as well just stick to the DC, as there are still way too many compatibility issues here unless you have a pretty good rig (which I do not. )

The d-pad function on Joy2Key should be mapped to the POV1 functions.
When you open Joy2Key click on the “Others” tab (is at the right side) and then check on “Use POV switches”
Go back to the J2K setup screen and configure/bind the moments to the POV1 keys.

DC Roms dont exist. games were on GD-Roms, and converted to CD Images.
Anywho, i decided to download nullDC last night and play around with it. finally got some settings tweaked to not have crappy sound. but i cant seem to boot a game up (CvS2). I haven’t tried really hard, but is there any tricks i need to know?

are these emulators only for ripped images or can I use them to play legit games?
dc games are on “gdrom” discs so your dvd drive probably won’t be able to read them. a gdrom was only really popular with some arcade machines (naomi pretty much).
I have nulldc on another laptop and it runs everything at 100% and now im on my moms and the computer is twice as fast, but mvc2 runs at about 85~90%
Any ideas?

I have nulldc 100 beta 6 (Im guessing the first one) but it runs kinda slow i altered the appropriate settings and it helped a little but there still somethings that either lag or have glitches i dont know what my specs are if someone can tell me how to find out that would be cool or if someone can tell me the best settings or maybe what version of nulldc is the best i want to run at normal speed im sure my comp can handle it
Anybody out there use Demul instead of nullDC? My rigs a bit old (runs full speed DC) but I’d be interested in what a newer rig could do with the 0.5.5 release in terms of FPS for Naomi and Atomiswave with the new gfx plug-ins.

I have to tell somebody this
I started up my nulldc this morning and started to play my SoA dispite how slow it is (im that dedicated) and i decide to mess with the settings a bit and i remember for S3’sDI that selecting the VGA 0 option makes it run smooth so i decide to try that for skies it wouldn’t load so i tried VGA 1 and bingo it loads real good very little glitches noticeable…but for like 1 minute the sound is cut off and im moving terribly slow i got in a couple fights got some air fish (mind you, this is the very beginning of the game right after vyse raids alfonso’s ship and saves fina) any way im at level 4 then all of a sudden i get into another fight but this time the music is playing beautifully minor poppin sounds and the sound effects are great and i look up at the spirit meter and it’s full green…at the begining of the fight :wtf: !? i look closer and what was once 9 as my limit is now 99!?
i look at their hp… 9999… mp…99 after the fight that i did Cutless fury to win like 5 times lol (Aika doesnt even have her first special cus i have yet to use the moonberry) I go to the menu cus i think this is prolly a glitch that goes away…nope all stats stay the same and whats funny is IM AT LEVEL 4!! so yea there’s a lil nugget for you guys. needless to say i saved it right away…on a separate slot of course
