2 players?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to configure a second controller for Null DC for some 2-player action?

If you’re using Xpadder (recommended), you may have to open up a second configuration to enable second player use on the nullDC. Here’s the tutorial to set up your joypad or joystick: http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21675 Oh by the way, if you guys are running into some sound distortion or missing frame rates, I’ve found a method to balance sound and graphic synchronization. First open up nullDC, click on options, go to Aica, and click on Config. Locate Buffer Size and set it to 1536 or higher. Last, start up the game and you’ll see a difference. I did this method when I recorded my demonstration on youtube. For those who haven’t seen it, check it out.

oh yeah I’m also available if you guys need help with nullDC. Just PM me whenever.

ok, I know this may be old but thought I’d ask, I’ve noticed several glitches in 3S. While in training, i noticed none of the characters are in the background, certain portions are blocked out, (as in horizontal black line in mid screen not that big but med. sized, a circle blocked out as well) the sound effects when making contact are muffled or not even apparent the you win screen will not appear after match and I can’t get a full screen as I prob just have to tinker with the settings a bit. I’ll take project k’s advice and see what happens.

according to the list in http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21524, the game screen for 3s is out of alignment and you could prevent this by changing up some of the settings in nullDC. i do not have 3s in my computer, so I wouldn’t know how to eliminate the wrong screen alignment because I didn’t try. But just continue to use my method of balancing of sound and graphic synchronization for every game. So far, I used it on MvC2, Dynamite Cop, and Virtua Tennis.

hot!

holy sh!t this thing kicks a55

glad to see i could help

im going to make this warning only once. some of you need to read our forum rules more clearly. some of you guys are getting very boarderline, or are breaking our rules.

but since i know no one will read the rules, cuz i mean, if you did, some boarderline posts wouldnt exist, i will tell you. do not link illegal shit in here. that INCLUDES bios files which seems to be the bigger problem in here. and do not be like “just pm me and ill hook up all the iso’s and shit” i dont even wanna see that. i dont want people giving out anyway to find illegal stuff. i dont wanna see posts like “hey buddy. hint hint, google…hint hint.” if i see someone asking for illegal stuff, i will ban. and if someone responds to that person with “pm me” i will ban as well.

this is the only warning

Now I have to try and get this to work (not too tech savvy, lol)

my bad
wont happen again

How can I load up from a CD? Its looking for a CD/GD file when I click on my drive to load up but nothing is in the list to select (I’m trying to boot a self boot CvS2). Also can I load GD roms or not?

I got it to work, but how do you input the VMU saves?

ElSemi wrote VMSBrowser, a VMU application for Chankast.
VMUBrowser can be used to import the DCI saves that that are available on GameFAQs.com onto an existing (and correctly formatted) BIN file that nullDC can process.

Here’s how to work it:

  1. Download & unzip the file to its own directory (link in quoted portion aove)

  2. Download the relevant .DCI save files from GameFAQs.com, making sure that you’ve got the correct save file for the correct region of your game. Ensure you have the .DCI file, not the VMI file, as the latter will not work.

  3. Copy the file “vmu_data_port01.BIN” from the nullDC root directory into the directory where VMSBrowser is located.

  4. Rename “vmu_data_port01.BIN” to “VMS.BIN”

  5. Run VMSBrowser

  6. Within VMSBrowser, click on the graphic of a VMU. If you’ve been playing any games on nullDC so far, your saved files should show up.

  7. Still within VMSBrowser, use the “Import Save” button to import all the DCI files one by one. (Delete your unwanted saves first before importing, I dunno if overwrite works or not)

  8. Still within VMSBrowser, after importing all the DCI files, make sure you click on “Write VMS.BIN”

  9. Close VMSBrowser, click on “Yes” if they ask if you want to save changes.

  10. Rename “VMS.BIN” back to “vmu_data_port01.BIN”

  11. Copy “vmu_data_port01.BIN” back to the nullDC directory (you can overwrite the existing file, but I’d recommend you to make a backup of the original file first though).

launch nullDC and enjoy

Here is an easy way to get any saves on your null, I used this myself for a few games like MVC2.

http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=vmutool&filename=vmu_backup_cd_v1.3.0.cdi.rar&use_mirror=superb-east

a cdi image, Boot it up like a normal game in nulldc and find the game you are looking for. Click and save the file of your choice.
Has almost every game on that and each game has multiple saves.

It worked great for me.
Boot up like a normal game image.
Browse to the game you want.
Pick the file you want.
save it.
your done lol

Anyone got their xbox 360 controller to working with nulldc?

Rusheddown please hook me up
