There’s not too much going on in CT so I’m glad to present something to look forward to.
This tournament is featuring singles in SSF4 and possibly teams (2v2) which will be held at the end if people want it. Also Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be running as well. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is unofficially on the roster. It will certainly be available so whether a BB tournament gets going or not will be decided on game day.
Some non fighting games will be running such as Nba2k11, Madden11, Halo:Reach, and Modern Warfare 2. Feel free to enter in these as well.
Time: Nov 16 5pm (registration begins at 5pm and ends at 7pm)
Place: 80 University Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604
There is a $5 entry fee per game and $10 per team if entering in doubles.($5 per person). There is NO venue fee.
This event is held on the campus of the University of Bridgeport but any may come. If you aren’t a resident on campus however, you MUST call/text me at 516-325-0151 or email me at Fre3linx@gmail.com to R.S.V.P. Without advanced notice, you probably wont be able to get inside.

I do not even know the CT scene that much but I do enough to know that plenty of people think you’re a tool. Pretty sure that people would consider you’re egotistical attitude a bigger waste of time than my desire to just play and meet people. I made it a couple of times to the Realysts house and I still do play Bwiyon sometimes up in New London because hes one of CT’s best. That’s probably more than most of CT can vouch for. (no offense to whatever you guys have going on in your lives, etc etc) Honestly man, congratulations, you’re good at a 2D fighting game.
So basically this is what you said to me in your first post in a nutshell: “You’re a scrub for playing pad, not playing madcatz pad at least, and not owning a 360 because that is what WE all play on.”
Have you ever heard of Vangief? Inthul? TPH Itachi? The fact that I may have better things in my life to take care of then paying 100 some odd dollars on a “Controller” to play ONE game? I just got laid off from my job and have plenty of personal and school orientated issues to take care of.

Hey Don’t Jump, nice you’re completely missing the point. I don’t know you personally but I do know that you come here posting about getting sessions and you’ve even complained nobody held anything in CT, and almost always you never show up. Nobody cares about what you’ve got to do in your life, everybody has school and a job aside from playing street fighter. It’s been discussed here to death a million times. The only thing anybody’s giving you a hard time about is that you simply never show up to anything in CT and then have acted like CT doesn’t hold any events or tournies.
Also, all those players you listed play on xbox. Also, if it’s about getting a stick I’m sure a bunch of people would’ve let you borrow one ages if you’d just been more personable with the people here. I probably would have ages ago had you actually came through to tournies instead of acting like people haven’t been trying to grow the scene. I hope that helps you understand why people give you a hard time and find you annoying here because I’m pretty much speaking for everybody here. Although if somebody disagrees please say so.
