Actually it’s because I went to Marvel’s site and they didn’t update on what comics they are releasing this week.
Just go to Diamond’s site if that happens again. Or Midtown’s. But yeah Marvel puts out comics every single week of the year without fail.
Except for Twelve, there have been no solicitations of when the next issue comes out ;_;

X-Men Manifest Destiny #5 did not come out this week due to a printing mistake. That should be out next week or the week after.
Oh and for any Naruto fans out there, the last issue of Shonen Jump announced that they will release 11 volumes of Naruto from February - April to catch up to Japan! In the meantime Naruto will be absent from the pages of Shonen Jump. In Shonen Jump, we just got up to the part where older Naruto met older Sasuke so the rest of the volumes will continue from that point on! :lovin:
And if you are Naruto fan, I strongly suggest staying the hell away from the graphic novel sections of your favorite book store from Feb - April because them annoying kids who read manga, lay against a shelf and place their bookbags in the perfect spot just so you can trip over it are going to be in full effect for those three months. 
That’s why you should “accidentally” drop an Absolute Edition on some kid’s head. Or maybe the Lost Girls box set. If the kid gets hit by a corner, he could die, and then you could sue the bookstore for the ensuing emotional trauma. After you win the suit, you’ll get a buncha money and then you can buy up all the comics you want.

Bah. I can barely stand to look at the comics section at Barnes & Noble anymore. The manga section is getting bigger and bigger, while the rest of the comics are becoming fewer everyday. And there are always people who grab a volume of manga and plop their asses down in front of the indie section to read it.
I do have to say, though, I had a great moment when I discovered that Maus was shelved in the biography section rather than the designated comics section. Progress!
Obama will appear in this week’s issue of Amazing Spider-Man. The Obama cover for it is going to be hella rare, so if you want it and your store let’s you reserve that cover than please do so. Oh and Obama appearing in ASM has been reported on by CNN, so your store may be crowded by a bunch of people who never visit comic book shops and who think the issue will be worth something and will never read it, sigh… Well I do have my Obama cover reserved. Hey if Obama appears in every issue I might just buy BND in full instead of picking up some of the random Slott arcs whenever he deals with older characters. :looney:
Other than that, Final Crisis, Nightwing, Spider-Girl, X-Infernus and X-Men / Spider-Man 3! Still no X-Men Manifest Destiny but this is a pretty good week for me.

Thank God that this is getting so much news and that so many more people will buy this comic, featuring the first black President of the United States giving Spider-Man a fist pound, and finally recognize comic books for the legitimate storytelling media they are.
