New Cammy Thread

I love challenges. Sure Ill take you up on that but 1 problem. I live in Canada and I am don’t want to waste money just to go play video games. I seriously would wonna play you. If I find a good deal with the travel agency then I will come to Evo.

I have a combo:

s.lp,s.lp,s.hp,Spin Drive Smasher(qcf KK),wait intil he falls,dash,c.lk,c.hp,sj,hk,cannon drill,Killer Beexx(qcb PP),Continue if you want.

This can obvously only be used if opponent doesnt roll.

But I was curious is it possible to do Cammy long air combo on Bigg Opponents then finish with the grab then resets it all over again? I’m assuming the height would give the opponent enough time to tech hit out of it huh?

Other then that Cammy is a really great character to use, as well as a good anti air. I hope this thread will continue to be a strong one with good imformation, thanks.

You shouldn’t do rollable combos… cuz they roll. =(

I only know that throwing Sentinel allows you to connect 2 lks and stuff…

Yeah I know but Cammy is insainly quick. And he lands right next to you so you only have to dash a little. Try the combo out for yourself.

how bout this for resets?
whatever into launch, sj., jab, short, jab (strong), pause and hold toward opponent, double jump, jab from other side (this jab is the reset still in the air), combo whatever into hk drill kick, kba?
for whatever reason, i can do this a lot. i just mix it up with a full combo, or reset.

i can’t do the throw reset in the air for some reason though:(

i use megaman (point), cammy, comando btw.

oh, and it is easy for all u cammy/comando users to do a cammy launch (and commando aaa assist), combo, kba.
this does a loooot of damage. also, if u know u can get a com. assit on them (the aaa) at any point, just do kba after for damaging 6 hit combo!

launch, hk drill kba is hard for me to do, i am finding launch, jab, hk drill, kba easier. it may help a lot of you guys if the first is a little tough. don’t do jab to early or u will miss the drill kick.

and cammy is great on sent!!!

u want something different from kbas? double jump all over the place with cammy on sent. lk works wonders and cammy is super fast with it. then u can combo sent into whatever.

Yes I think the reset Nate posted is pretty good. The first two jabs should be done real slow though.

I never use commando/cammy together… (storm/sent/cammy)

There is one combo with cammy that involves capcom’s assist.

c.lk+capcom, launch (c.hp), sj, lp, lk, lp, hk cannon drill, kba.

I suck at MvC2. =(

Can KBA startup go thru Projectiles? B/c I can KBA through Hail if I read it, but I’m kinda hesitant to do it if I cant read it, cuz Iono if she’ll get hit…

Hey all. I’m pretty good with Cammy to some degree and I’m having trouble connecting a killer bee assault from and air combo. Do you have to HC it very quickly from air cannon drill quickly or is there some weird timing a la Mags hypergrav XX magnetic tempest?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Just turn the movement from cannon drill and KBA into one fluid motion… always works for me. You shouldnt see much of the cannon drill either, you should see it JUST come out, and then the KBA will start. Make that happen.

actually, thats a bad idea imo. I’ve had many times, where I’ve canceled the cannon drill too fast, and it ended up not coming out… I’d end up getting punished for a wiffed kba.

unless the kba is guaraneed not to miss during the middle of it, I think its alot safer to do the cancel a bit slower, not fast as possible

That’s odd…Maybe the way I do you’ve been doing too fast. I do one fluid motion, but I kinda slow it down a little…so it all works. But, then again, fluid motion or not, it’s all about each individual’s timing. Some techniques work for some people, some dont.

The better way is to launch, air combo,cannon drill xx kba. But here is the thing if you do it to quickly she’ll connect the kba and she will go up and the character is going to be way up nowhere to be seen And you’ll connect a few hits. If you do it with tiny pause in the combo you’ll get the full combo connected.

P.S. I don’t recommend the launch, air combo,cannon drill,kba,dash,c.lk,launch,air combo,cannon drill,kba. :cool: . I’ll make launch, air combo,cannon drill,kba,dash,c.lk,launch,air combo,cannon drill.:wink:

  1. the double jump reset
  2. sj.hk, fierce cannon drill, kba
  3. the 2 grab variants resulting from the hooligan punch and how to get the grab that results in a bounce (free OTG)
