It will take me a minute to get used to some of the graphical downgrades, but I like what I have seen of the game.

Noel feels weird to me. Overall her movement seems faster, but all her attacks seem half a second slower. Still, I will have to get used to her and the new command for her ground Super.

I didn’t mean to scare you. Seems like small stuff like certain effects, Tager’s magnetism charge opening and Noel’s chain revolver after images, it might be trivial those just me but those sort of jumped out at me. Haven’t played the game or seen enough video first hand to know if other stuff has been affected.

I don’t know what you’re talking about with ‘magnetism charge opening’ but I’m fairly sure all they did with Noel is change the color of her Drive chain trails from green-blue to black.

Have you’ve seen the Tager opening animation where he holds his fist together and normally green magnetic energy charges up? It was in CT and in CS, it is still there but noticeably less vibrant as if they toned it down several notches or something.

Its not a downgrade, they just used a different painting technique in CS. Notice how all the characters now look more cell shaded with the shadows becoming more dominant.

Played it at Arcade Infinity today. I’m digging alot of Ragna’s buffs. All if not alot of his CT combos remain intact and his Berial Edge is a lot more useful than when I saw it on the loke test videos. Still need to learn how to incorporate it into my game. I’m kinda sad that his drain was nerfed, especially when i pulled off his blood kain distortion (devoured by darkness) and found very little life regained. but hey, they gotta nerf him somewhere, right?:wonder:

My brother tried Tao cause he mained her in CT. according to him, her 2a’s were nerfed. He also said her the newer version of one of her aerial specials (cat spirit or something like that) didn’t mesh as well into her combos and juggles as well as the older one did.

I tried Rachel just to see if she’s as bad as everyone said she was. It seemed that alot of her bnbs that were in CT are now just gone. I think the aerial Sword Iris is a something of an addition to her arsenal though. I never really used the frog and pumpkin alot in CT, because used seeds, bnbs and her mixup games (usually based on j. 2c), so i didn’t really test those.

With all the changes in this game, I wasn’t really surprised that even the announcer got nerfed:rofl:

I was the Litchi player with the long ponytail and black sweater last night.

I’m still pissed how they nerf-raped Rachel, I miss her j.2c since it was her best rush tool, now she feels really boring to play as. I’m still going to pick her, but really not happy with the results.

I don’t think anyone is happy with what they’ve done with everyone’s favorite loli. I’m for sure not.

What lolicon wouldn’t want to see Rachel getting raped? I mean really…

Ah, so that is what it is, I was wondering why some of the colors were looking odd.

I’m not really into loli’s, but Rachel is an exception since her play style is really sweet.
