I’m living in San Mateo so if you guys need help let me know, I’m looking forward to being a regular
Just curious… is that all cabs? Can we make a few request for games? Like Strider, Forgotten Worlds, Side Arms, etc. :lovin:
I’ve always envision the new Arcades to include some console machines probably enclosed where nobody can touch it… then a USB plug in on the enclosure to use your own stick.
your not gonna make money for your biz to survive off the games… In my opinion you need drinks like a coffee shop. I am really interested with what your doing PM me if you are really serious about this; I would like to help out.
Get a cab of Rainbow Edition
Jesus christ…please let this idea work. I’ve recently gotten into the whole arcade scene (my first trip to SVGL was last month), and am loving it to death. SV, however, is quite a drive for me and this place will be quite a bit closer if it pulls through. lots of luck to you toro, and I’ll be sure to be there on opening day.
PS: PLEAAASE upgrade that Blazblue cab to Continuum Shift if you’ve got the cash, doing so would definately bring in the big bucks
Hung out with the guy opening this place up last night, really chill guy. Definitely would try and get everyone’s support for this arcade when it opens up
There’s a few certain shmups that you should certainly get if you have the cash to swing it. I would recommend getting DoDonPachi DaiFukkatsu 1.5 since its the lastest baddest offering from Cave and it has all the necessary eye candy for newbies. Maybe get a Deathsmiles board as well. I wish that SFSU hadn’t gotten rid of their Espgaluda 2 board because I was on that thing quite a bit once I had discovered that place and saw that they had it.
funny enough, ill be moving to san francisco in a few weeks, will be living right nearby SFSU… would be awesome to have an arcade thats reasonable distance to play at.
If you’re at SFSU, visit the Rack-N-Cue.
Here’s the games they have and hours of operation:

we need more arcades out hear at least if u open 1 yuo wont have much competetion lol
Welcome to the arcade scene… the first hit is always free. And of course it’s going to be Continuum Shift. Sadly, trying to operate the original Blaz Blue would just be a waste of money.
I wish I had more room for shumps, 'cause I’d love all of those titles (I also have an Ibara I’d love to challenge people with). But with only enough space for 2, I think one more old school and one newer (like dfk) is the right mix. I don’t know why dfk got panned by so many. It was a really enjoyable game when I played it in Japan.
SFSU is great if you have access to it. But I’m sure you know, having not lived near there before, what would be involved in getting there if you don’t live near there. That being said, you’re always more than welcome at this new place. It’ll switch up your scene, for sure.
Yea i lived in san francisco for first half my life, i know how to get around but a dedicated arcade would be my place to go.
In San Mateo?
Sacramento needs an arcade. Real talk. Just saying.
510 area(pref Oakland/Berk). It has a lot of players with no where to go. It’s kind of the kind of the central point for the bay area. and is only 30-90 minutes away from most players. It’s the only major area in the bay area without an arcade.
the 925 Area is even better for sac players, but there aren’t enough players here to support an arcade.
You can put it in South bay sure, but there are a lot of other options in the south bay. Just saying.
shut up u face:woot:
I’d like to see this arcade get off the ground. Doesn’t have to be big but the community that this will build will help a whole lot.
I’d love to see a miniature cafe open up within the center. If so, then I’ll be interested in help getting that started.
Anyways, I’m glad to see this arcade manifest to a reality.
NO, it is you who is a face.
good shit. you know, i don’t care where this arcade is built as long as it is built, and it’s in the bay area.
Marvel vs Capcom 1 too please
