Recently, I came across this video:
This guy managed to fit microswitch buttons into the NES Advantage shell by cutting through the PCB, rewiring up traces and doing some custom mounting. I can do padhacks, but I don’t have the skills to do this kind of mod myself.
Is there anyone here who would have the expertise to duplicate this work? I’d like to commission someone to upgrade by NES Advantage with a bottom mounted (no screwholes on the surface!) JLF, octagonal gate, and two Sanwa buttons. The rest of the NES Advantage surface must remain stock - the pot switches, the turbo enable/disable buttons, Start, Select, and Turbo Start.
Sorry to revive this old thread, but I’m still looking for an NES Advantage Sanwa mod.
Is there anyone here with the expertise to do this?
I accept the case will need to be extended.
What I’m looking for are two red Sanwa OBSF-30s, a Sanwa JLF, and octagonal restrictor plate. installed within an NES Advantage.
I still want access to the pots, the turbo enable/disable buttons, as well as the side buttons for P1/P2, Start, Select and Slow. If the PCB needs to be cut and wires bridge traces, so be it.
I’m looking for comission someone with the skills to do this. I can provide the NES Advantage and the Sanwa parts and am willing to pay a fair price for the mod work. Can anyone assist?
