NeoGeo matchmaker ARClive

As far as I know the recording feature is broken in windows vista. I’m not certain about windows 7. If this is happening on windows XP then I have no idea what the problem is, but you can still record normally using Fraps (and at higher quality) if you are able.

I (still)use XP and have two avi. and two flv. videos saved from Arclive.

How I did it is time consuming you have been WARNED.

  1. Click on replay above the main screen. Find yours or who ever saved game match you want to save.
  2. click on the save rpl(save replay), then click view replay(warning you get what you allowed to be viewed)
  3. After you watched(or just let replay run) replay go to your view replay on your left hand side, click on it.
  4. When you’re in view replay look to your right, you should see the saved match. Click on it, make selection to how you want to save it Speed x0,x1,x2 etc. video format avi, flv or none.
  5. click on confirm and let it play/run.
  6. And Voila!!!(did I spell that right LOL) you are done look in your REPLAY folder inside avi or flv folders which ever format you saved in and it should be there.

Yeah time consuming but once you get the hang of things not complicated at all.

GOOD LUCK 2 YA!!!

PEACE.

Thanks -WiL- and Jinzero

So yeah, the feature is broken on vista? : (

I can’t use your method on vista right?

This method SHOULD work on XP, Vista and Windows7 but again this is time consuming… unless the matches are short.

FRAPS is also good but it may lag gameplay from what I am told from people who use it.

GOOD LUCK AGAIN… HOPE IT WORKS.

PEACE.

I’m sorry but no spectating no sale.

And if it doesn’t support at LEAST the same amount of games as ggpo then I won’t bother.

There is spectating but its called observe or something like that? But one of the cool features is that you can watch old matches as well as live(I think live has a 5 sec. delay due to watchers may lag the matches) ones.

If you haven’t seen it a member already posted some games supported by ArcLive.

Nice List eh?

Not a bad list indeed jinzer0. I’m intrigued. I would like to know the FULL list of co-op games. Punisher and Warriors of Fate are a good start. What about Aliens vs Predator, Armored Warriors, Metamorphic Force, D&D Series, Sunset Riders, Senguko 3, etc?

ArcLive’s Full Co-Op List:
Warriors of Fate
D&D Shadow over Mystara
Cadillac’s & Dinosaurs
Captain Commando
Knights of the round
The Punisher
Knights of Valour
Knights of Valour Plus
Guardian
Knights of Valour SuperHeroes
Knights of Valour 2 Plus
Knights of Valour 2
Oriental Legends

Also the Shooters are Co-Op too… really don’t know why there in a different category but hey what ever.

P.s. For the other games SuperCade supports them but there isn’t too many people who play Co-Op on SuperCade which sucks because SuperCade has THE BEST gamelist available for online play. Or you can try Kailera(did I spell that right?).

anyone down for some matches?/ 3s st??

I am available for 3S matches on Arclive on the weekends.

But I am Wifi so my matches might get laggy.

Still need practice on 3S, A3, ST, MotW and KoF though haven’t played in years want to measure myself and make improvements to my game.

I am on usually on at Night since my Day is always Full My user ID is in my Sig.

PEACE!!!

Am I missing something with this?
I’ve tried this service with two people who live no more than two miles from me, with 25 up 25 down lines… and it lags like all hell.

Open GL and Gph smoothing have to be on.

For any one having problems Updating/Upgrading there English versions of ArcLive try out this LINK
Install.
Login or Register first then Login.
The ArcLive Program will then ask you to Update/Upgrade
Click on the DownLoad bar. A Yes or No option Box will appear. Select Yes. Wait…
When Updating/Upgrading is complete You should see a Box telling you have Finished… or something like that?

And There You Go Enjoy I think it runs a little smoother

Wow First SuperCade now this Online gaming is getting Better and Better :))

The update didn’t add any games but it added support up to 4 players now. Yeah you can have a endless battle now on arclive.

sooo what zones do you you guys play in? we all need to pick a zone for each game so it will be easier to meet up

ps i hope in the near future they add snk vs capcom chaos

Zone 5 is the one where america is on,you can find a Mexican at least. But if that doesn’t work out 200+ ping plays fine if you want to try against china. be sure to have gph smoothing and open gl on.

I usually play were there are players I go thru all the zones until I either find someone with decent ping or I play solo for a while. I play mostly SFIII3S, SFA2-3, Garou MotW and KoF2002.

SvC:Chaos I don’t like to play that game Solo its definitely a better game with Two Players Hope someone(ArcLive, SuperCade or GGPO) adds it because it actually is a good Fighter.

I play Eastern players in SF games and Mexican/South Americans players in SNK Fighters I only played one American player and that was in Garou MotW and he plays like a tourney play haven’t beat him once yet :frowning:

Also you say Open GL and Gph Smoother are supposed to be on but one of the earlier posters say keep them off? I turned it on to try it out haven’t played anyone yet. Also Jedpossum I had it off and was able to play far east players with 250-350 ping and it was decent, would you say with the options you listed turned on will give us a better playing experience?

Well I guess not, but i had to do have open gl and gph smoothing on same with mightymar, dyne, and roukyou.

Ok just thought I had the wrong setup

Also Uploaded an Updated ArcLive! 10.16.2010… which is what I should have done in the first place but some people had problems updating ArcLive! so I thought my earlier post would help? So with out further A DO!!!
