I’ve decided on NGBC
It’s around $5.00.
AOF Anthology, imo, is only good for AOF 3.
FF Battle Archives is, imo, only good for FF Special. Krauser’s nut punch is too strong.
I better go see if Game Crazy has this in stock.
Getting this and KOFXI (possibly battle archives too) to show some support to SNKP, since I already have the japanese versions
We should keep this thread as a look out for cheap ass fighting games. I’m getting this and KOFXI
Garden District, near Canal Street. I’m not far from Tulane, actually. Hit me up on AIM, yo.
no gamestops in the cleveland, oh area had the game… but the exchange happaned to have a copy today FINALLY
If you REAALLYY need a copy, go ahead and order one. If one comes in to one of your local stores before you get your copy you ordered, buy it and return the one you got in mail when it comes. That’s what I did with XI. I was pretty desperate.
Sadly, NGBC and KoF XI had the progressive scan option removed. It’s really very sad. Insertcredit.com has an official explanation. These games are ports of the PAL version rather than ports of the Japanese NTSC version. It all seems pretty stupid to me.
On a side note: I was born and raised in New Orleans. The Garden District brings back some pretty good memories.
I’m torn between Neo Geo Battle Colloseum and King of Fighters XI.
Which one do you guys think I should get?
I don’t see why you should choose when you can get them both for a total of $30.
If you can’t afford an extra $15 to get both, I’d say you have more pressing concerns…
NGBC, though some will say XI.
I think Coliseum is the saner game by far, also more balanced gameplay-wise.
Fine I’ll get both then.
I don’t think its necessary to get both at the same time. But then, I don’t ask other people to help me decide either…
EDIT - I"m sorry I got a little to angry there. Please don’t laugh at me.
Does NBC have a single player challenge mode like KoF XI?
No it doesnt.
Just got my copy yesterday, and I’ll be damned… it seems, and maybe this is just my imagination, that they fixed those horrid load times from the Japanese version. Everything just seems so much faster now.
:wgrin:
Time to start re-training up Engrish style! I hope to hell this sells well in the U.S. cause I definitely want to see a NGBC 2.
Anyway, I just got KOF XI yesterday didn’t see NGBC anywhere. Now, if AOF Anthology is 8 bucks then I’m down with that.
Maybe more people will play this in my area now!
AOF is $15? Still too high.
